Bandimere Colorado! Just coming back from Tucson, Arizona where we discovered we had a boost controller problem after getting beaten by David Gates, Jr.

We saw signs from Tucson on & had to stop and see #thething roadside attraction for ourselves…

We feel like the car is faster every week. First up, we draw Cody “Shake N Bake” Baker. He’s outrun us for the last few years! The screwblowers may have an advantage, but us turbo’s aren’t far behind. We’ve put in a tune up for Cody, and feel like it’s our turn to win.

It’s my job to be on the light. Look, #boosted has taken away any guessing. You can’t guess the light anymore. I let go of the button, and the car checks out. It’s fast! Rolls through the gears. I pull the chutes. Chuck wins, Cody Baker loses. I’m on cloud 9, feeling like I did everything right. I exit the track to find a very unhappy Cody Baker. He really thought I’d guessed on him! He’s actually very upset. We’re friends and respect each other, so it really bothered me. We go back to the pits and find the #2ndAmendmentcar lost 2 cylinders on the pass. The data shows we’ve lost a lot of horsepower. We thrashed on the motor because not long after we draw again…and we draw Brandon James.

Next up we draw Brandon James. That California kid and his Screw Blown Nova is fast! He’s better than me in points and his screw blower is wicked. Brandon is hurting feelings this season.

We go up to make a pass and The 2nd Amendment car is so down on power that we had to do 2 burnouts. We’re so slow and down on power that the car just drives right. Brandon drives out of my life and goes on to almost win this week’s NPK finals. Hat’s off to Brandon James. He did his job.

So back to Cody Baker. I’ve looked at all kinds of footage and to me it looked like his car wasn’t fast, that something was wrong with it. It’s bothered me all week! He thinks I guessed, but I didn’t.

When we get to Norwalk, I’m going to have to talk to Cody Baker…
