Met Monza at a no prep race. He was rude and his son was even more so. It’s the fans that drive things, treat them badly and it will catch up with ya.
Monza was the most normal character on the show. Sad to see him leave.
Takes money to race, got to win to get sponsors. Example I'm sure ryan Martin has no trouble with sponsors.

Tried watching locals only twice. Cant get into the small tire only, then go against some of the fastest big tire cars. Getting lengths and hits isnt appealing to me
This happens in nascar all the time when the economy is down. It’s cyclical.
Monza recently stated that the OG show wasn't picked up as of yet for next season. I have to imagine it will be back though?

Monza is not promoting his own brand. I have not seen but maybe 4or5 videos of him or his car in 6 months. How many followers does he have? This is like a report card for Discovery. I do not know if Monza even has merch. Plus the Sicial Media Plarforms compensate the Drivers per follower.Monza chose not to do any of these things. What will he gain for Discovery monetarily?

Monza is still doing NPK just not all of them. Car wasn't completely finished for the first event and wants to go testing before he goes to ANY event. He will be at some just not all

For starters he is not DONE he explained why he stepped back that is because of his salary being cut back and also because he wanted to hire full time tuner and another hand to help turn car around and also help drive toter an pull trailer to events cause it was allot on just him an his son so no he is not quitting he just is stepping back for little bit and trying to figure out finance options to make all work he will be back I say sooner than later
I think the problem is is that pilgrim is trying to milk as much as they can from the footage. the locals only could have been thrown into the regular npk show if they cut a lot of the drama bloat out of it. I dont know anyone who watches for the bs talking in between races. one race per commercial break is horrible.
Ratings are poor because there's not a single personality to follow. Great racing on the show but people want to follow someone or a car. As much as I like Farmtruck and Asian, they aren't allowed to have the ability to carry the show. I will miss Monza on NPK. He's been one of my favorites since the start. They will all eventually step away. Then they will return. The itch to race is strong.
