I appreciate that this is the last race at that EXACT location. The track is moving to another location and getting away from the encroachment from city expansion. It is not going away forever like so many tracks have, including the one I raced at.

i was in the military in 1980-84 in 1982 a guy worked with a top fuel team that ran on Bandimere Speedway, they came to nevada to test over the winter time & all top drivers back then came to the desert where i was to test! the owner of track trusted me to let people in the track to test! i worked night for military the owner let me do that! it was un safe to have rigs parked side of the 2 lane road the track was off back then!
