People have been saying for years that someone will die racing with JJ. Even with the 405 where safety was taken more seriously could've resulted in deaths, just like any form of racing. Every driver should know the risks before they let off the button.
He agreed to race on that street knowing the risks involved for his own financial gain. He didn't do it for free
You know they have standards and rules because look at the new show with small tires when they raise teen woo-woo himself cannot raise because his car was not set up with the right seat belts
The split is great, but could be done differently… Like, a whole race night in the middle with the start of one and end of the other added… I mean, could easily have races QuickTime, some are drawn out with bullshit no one needs to see
Really disappointed in how down hill this channel has gone and how far away it’s gone from racing and more into drama
I don't understand… So if he wasnt racing in fastest in America and died in another street race.. Who would they sue then? Sounds to me like people are just looking for a quick buck $$$
Life's short it doesn't matter about anything other than it was his time and God called him home live every day to the fullest!
Stop with your bullshit thumb nails if you don’t know the truth.
No one forces them to do it. He passed away doing something he loved. He’s probably turning over in his grave that his family is doing this. Listen to chief and Shawn show #16. That says it all. They are the ones doing this for monetary gain. IMO
They didn’t hold him at gunpoint to get in the car and let off the button. Again, respectfully IMO
I feel it’s disrespectful to Ryan to file a suit. He love drag racing and the show. The show supports small town racing and where we all come from. No one wanted him to crash. This is no different than going to a drag strip you know the risks and you would never blame the people filming it or putting it on
Well the way I look at it is, I feel like if Ryan fellows knew that his family was trying to sue a corporation that Ryan absolutely love being a part of. I feel like he would be 100% against it and disappointed in his family. I understand kids lose their father live lose their husband and I understand friends Lose Friends. But that is part of life. He knew what he signed up for, they all have equal opportunity to walk that tract road that they are going to be racing down. They all know what can happen. There is no piece of paper that you sign saying if I wrecked my car, everything will get paid for in full or whatever… I feel like this is definitely a family that is grieving and they are still in shock over it happening I feel like that's one hundred percent normal for them to feel that way. They are very hurt and so are his followers. There's nothing I would want more… then to have a shot at getting on the show and racing against some of the best in the country in the most expert level there is a street racing… Noticed I did say street racing! If something was to happen to me out there, I would hope and pray that my family would not try to pull a stunt like this and try to sue operations that I would always want to be a part of. I know this comment is probably going to piss some people off Aaron and if it does, then so be it… This is not the drag races this is not a pull up to the guy and hand him 10 or $20 and you sign a piece of paper and then you go park your car and then you walk up and watch drag races. Street racing people!! There's a big difference
This season of the 405 is garbage. I have never missed an episode of any of the shows, but I am really getting close to no longer caring. I dont know if it's content overload or just lack of quality. But I just don't care about this show anymore.
It's unfortunate. But we all know the risk. It absolutely has nothing to do with discovery
I would say people should first realize that they dont know all the facts. Wait until you do before forming an absolute opinion. There are a lot of things at play here, including possible different laws and requirements if deemed a 'workplace'.
Total BS no one forced him to race!
You take that chance every time you get in to the cockpit and no that it could be the day
That’s the dumbest accusation I’ve heard in a while where did you get your info from “big chief” everyone knows the risk and signs the papers
Honestly it will probably be settled out of court with an arbitrator. Nobody but the family and pilgrim will know the outcome.
Yes, Big Chief was my hero! Miss not seeing him anymore.
nobody forced him to go down it and the lawsuit would never be proven but they will settle outside of court for sure.
Street outlaws getting wild. They started kidnapping dudes strapping them in race cars an making them race down unsafe roads. That shit is rough!!
The show isn't a NHRA event it's ashame this happened but if you think it's not safe don't line up and let off the button
The dude brought out his car and knew he had to race so not really discoveries or anybody else's fault
