Ryan is way faster now then he was quit few years ago. I cant remember how long ago this was on tv but i think its right after he got on the 405 list.
Ryans car couldn't go 50 miles on the street without having issues but Tom's car has gone thousands of miles on the street.
Both guys are wealthy with huge egos
It may be factory length, but it's tube chasis, motor is not in factory positioned, fiberglass front clip, weighs under 3,000 lbs, so it's still a pro mod

News Fact for Grudge Race TV fans. Tom would have advanced to the 2nd round, but thanks to a three race setup, Ryan Martin did what he always does. Improve his time by reading the track conditions and knowing the in's and out's of street racing. This was vintage Martin.
I think they ran 1/8 mile which Ryan is set for and think Tom is more for last half of the quarter and had to ride the edge on traction too much for 1/8 against Ryan. Tom for the win in the quarter though.
