I like your approach but the millionaires have driven so many non-million air racers to the sidelines. Like you said earlier " in the old days" the sportsman racers could afford the parts to be competitive and it didn't take your paycheck to make the next race; since you had to work an actual job to pay your bills for a living.
Speaking of upgrades? How about having ATMs located around Brandenton? Was at the WSOPM last year and wanted to purchase some of the teams shirts but they were cash only so unfortunately none of those teams received any support from me because of the cash only options.
Thanks for being such a class act Wes and not sinking to Donald Long's level. I'm really surprised how short sighted he is , regarding the racing and the type of fans he thinks "belong* at the track. I'm with you, people have disposable income for entertainment purposes, drag racing should be trying to draw their attention, they will become drag racing fans once they witness the awesomeness in person.
We need more Wes Buck's and Donald Long's in drag racing!
