SlagHammer goes back to the track and we have company this time.

Went back to the track for some more seat time with SlagHammer. Only got 2 runs in, but was productive. Still need to work on my reaction time. The first pass I must have been asleep..lol the 2nd pass was a lot better. The car did good.. now I need to address the fuel part ,acted like it wasn’t getting enough . Do hopefully it an easy fix.@Daddy’s Money Garage and @Dr Art’s Hot Rod Rehab

  1. Well, heh, Slaghammer's looking very nicely-composed out there, fuel things or not. Also it seems we had like simultaneous RA flareups a while ago, hope you're doing OK there. (In my case sometimes I find popping some B-vitamins can help perk me up if I'm feeling kinda slow on the switch. Or some Powerade. (A lot of my rheumatoid stuff comes from adrenal stuff so a bit of sodium kinda helps if I'm feeling a certain sort of sluggish. Your mileage may vary. )

  2. Do a test on your fuel flow volume, if you can’t fill a half gallon of fuel in 15 seconds of free flow you need a better system. Highly recommend half-inch line, a fuel pump from a 125 to 180 gallon per hour pump preferably with a return line. To check for return line restriction if you open the fuel pressure regulator to fully bypass back to the fuel cell or tank it should show less than 2 pounds of pressure on the gauge. This fuel system will get deep in to the tens.

  3. Funny bunch of guys.. Must have caught the disease from UT… Did good, did good, must have said that at least 5 times, but we never get to hear what the actual time was.
Must not have been so good since no one wants to state the time. If you don't know what I mean, it's the time on the little paper ticket they gave you. Just read it on camera.. It's not rocket science.

  4. Hey Al the fellow Youtuber Adventures made from scratch had some Studebakers in his junkyard again that aired on Sept 16th before he crushes them he may have a fender

  5. Look Tony builds the cars and Al's job is to drive the car Al built that car so give the man some time to get the car dialed in properly he's got a lot of s*** going on it's not like that's the only thing he's doing is playing with that car he has a real life it'll get there in all due time have some patience quit hounding the man the car is more than capable of running but you can't just take a fresh car and run it down the track and expect it to do seven you have to dial it in suspension tuning all that s*** takes time and when you have a life and you have a job and a family it's not going to get done overnight give the man a break would you I'll keep doing what you're doing I'm sure you'll get there with slag hammer good luck to you buddy kick ass in the Nationals
