  1. Love the blazer!!!
●Why not buy a new tranny pan with a drain plug in it???●
Just saying, not trying to tell you what to do.
Keep up on all the great videos guys!
As usual great job Phantom on all you video filming, editing etc!

  2. Also drive the K5 in reverse at a decent speed, like 6 or 9mph and press the brakes hard enough to come to a stop quickly. Do that a few times and the drum brakes will adjust themselves.

  3. I absolutely love the blazer. Everything about it. The wheels are amazing too. Sounds like the lock up converter is not unlocking and trans staying in high gear. If it is the lock up switch it's easy fix.

  4. Don't get triggered but dude , you have been drawing big bucks from pilgrim for years to show up and be a duck, you and Chuck both. You are living really good by just showing up and losing, not being any kind of contender. You use to be a contender but thats old news. Not hating on you dude, but fix your program, at least try to have a racing program.

  5. That’s awesome, i had a 71, an 87 and an 84, i love the K5’s, those are the wheels i wanted but i went with raceline beadlocks last time

  6. I’ve been building my 73 k5 for 2 years I just put a 408 stroker and a 4l80 and a np205 and I’m trying to do the metal work my bed sides are rusted out in the same spots I ordered a quarter panel from classic industries in February of 2021 and I still haven’t received it they said my estimated delivery date is 2050 it’s one of my dream cars as well hopefully I’ll get to finish mine one day before my kids are grown lol

  7. I've owned a few different K5s from different years, and from what I've seen and read, the rust on the rails is a common point for the 73-75s. Never ran into that issue on newer K5s. Of course my 74 has rust in the rails, rockers (inner and outer), and surprisingly not too bad in the floor boards. I have a 6.0l and 4L85E waiting to go into mine….. or 454 with the Sniper….. haven't decided fully.

  8. Raptor line the inside and do the rails let the stock paint.. love these trucks my uncle had a 79 Quadra Trac 400 sbc. Man that thing was a animal in the snow or whatever u could throw at it.. I mean a freaking beast. And it definitely could have used a new holly carburetor for sure. Urs is so much cleaner I thought they all rusted out everywhere.

  9. He isn’t doing anything wrong. You can’t get all the fluid out by dropping the pan on any auto trans . You guys know that it’s the same in the race cars and you change fluid in them all the time I’m sure you have a pump to do it . Also that 460le will never hold up with Shawn’s foot in that Heavy K5 it definitely needs a 480 ! Enjoyed seeing you guys at the Va NPK last weekend!

  10. Sweet ride as far as the bed rails I would just repair the holes rust treat the rest and put bed liner over it like you said it's not a show truck either way it's pretty bad ass

  11. You are never gonna get all fluid out of tranny by dumping the pan because there is fluid in torque converter and in tranny cooler and lines best bet is to get a transmission flush
