  1. The best GL1500 in the Whole wide world Wish I could buy it, but my 33 yrs old son just passed away and doing the funeral services now…
Gracias and still interested in knowing the price

  2. Sold my GL1500 SE last week, i didn’t want to because i loved it so much, but parts were becoming difficult to obtain and expensive, so i cut my losses and bought a 2002 Honda ST1300 in immaculate condition with 17000 miles. It will never be my beloved Goldwing but it’s an amazing close second.

  3. I sure hope you continue to run goldwing docs.
Would be a shame to lose your advice and help and amazing work that you did creating Goldwing docs.
We need and appreciate you and your team and your work.

Hopefully you stay with us and continue your journey and channel no matter what you decide to get for your next bike.

God bless you and your family.

I would love to get your bike and trailer. Only problem is I have my 1984 1200 goldwing Aspencade.
I am needing to go to a Trike very shortly.

    Please don’t leave us.

    Thanks John and Cathy

P.S. we love your channel and your form has helped me immensely with my bikes and projects.

  4. Scott, I found GWdocs in 2015 when I got a 83 Interstate and have followed along with my limited experiences and have learned a lot. When You sold your 82 1100 I was sort of sad but 7 years later and I have resisted the 6 cyl wings for my own reasons and Today I feel like I am losing a friend. The fact you got an other bike means a few years of easy maintenance and I thank you personally for the experiences.

  5. That is definitely a one of a kind GL1500 and I can understand it being very difficult to set a price on it. The color combo is so beautiful, and I can't imagine what other accessory a person might need since you have everything already. I have a 1997 but man I would love to have this bike with the trailer and all. A wonderful video, I watched all the way through and I'm not even in the market to buy a bike right now. I subscribed to your channel when I bought my GL1500 last year and you are a wealth of information on this bike. Good luck Scott on your new bike, I'm sure you will be making that bike your own as well. Thank you!

  6. Great review Scott. When you said you've bought something else, I think a lot of people assume it's a bike. You didn't say that, so therefore I don't assume. Many life changes over the last year…..hmmmm. Probably has something to do with the new do, which you've kept quiet about. At some point, when you're ready, you'll fill all of us in on these things. I hated selling my '84 1200, but the new-to-me '05 1800 is a dream. Sorry I'm going to miss the goldwingdocs annual rally in August. Getting ready for a big out west trip and can't make the WV rally as well. Take care, keep the great content coming. Thank you.

  7. I’m not interested in buying your bike although I think it will be a great bike for someone. I was wondering do you have a belly pan installed on the bike ?

  8. The thought to sell my Goldwing went through my head this spring… an instant marital dispute with my wife ensued. She grew up on the back of her dad's bike, I will never sell my GL1500

  9. I can tell you that I know how you feel about selling your bike. I have a 98 SE with 74,000 miles and I think I may have to sell it due to medical condition. I don't think I am strong enough to hold it up anymore. I have another bike so I can still ride.

  10. What a great bike. I'm in California but if i were closer i would give you the cash for it now. I only have a little reservation about the rear car tire on it. Obviously there is much debate about running one and I'm the type that i belive in going with what the manufacturer recommends but you have experience with it so what is your thoughts on using it. I have been debating buying either a 2017 or going with a 2000 in great condition. I believe the 1500 is the most comfortable bike there is to ride.

  11. Met a guy at a hotel that was checking in with a 94 Aspencade. If you read this it was nice to talk to you! Thanks for all the helpful knowledge you shared with a complete stranger, I greatly appreciate it!

  13. The 1996-2003 GL1500C Valkyrie suffers the same shifter problem as your Goldwing, this problem can prematurely fail the shifter seal. I have a "shifter Buddy" version which works great.

  14. Really enjoyed your video about the bike your selling. Of all the extras you have added to your bike
the ones I find the most helpful and useful are the Corbin seat and the air horns. Unfortunately, Honda
is dropping the Goldwing and Kaw is dropping the Concours 1400. The loyal riders and the ones pushed
the sales of the large touring bikes are getting older and fewer. I hope you get the 6K your asking for the bike.
Keep up the great work with your videos as they are very helpful and entertaining.

  15. Shall we run a book on the next bike? BMW r1250rt 5/1, Triumph Rocket 2.6l 50/1, Yamaha Tracer 7 gt 4/1, Honda NT 1100 3/1, Suzuki Burgman 400 15/1, MotoGuzzi V9 100/1, Harley Davidson Road King 80/1, (new) Honda Goldwing 1800 2/1

  16. Hey Scott, John from WinGovations here.
Very sorry to hear you are having to sell your beloved machine, but glad to hear that the site is going to continue. Someone is going to be a very lucky new owner!
Health issues can be a real bummer: I have not ridden for over two years since fracturing my back again (the third time!). Hoping that maybe I'll get back to it later this year.
Look after yourself, that's the most important thing, and thank you for all you do.

  17. GoldwingDocs has given me the confidence to fix and service my own bike. Thank you Scott. Good luck selling. Can’t wait to see your new ride

  18. The balance of the universe is restored. You're looking to check out of GL1500 ownership just as I am gearing up to check in.

Been watching your videos to see if a Goldwing is for me and I think the answer is yes.

Good luck with whatever is next.
