  1. What people don't understand is that if you line up after a bike with a slick has made a pass . Even your street tire now becomes ultra sticky gripping against the rubber on the track. You can either move over out of the standard center or change your RPM. Those things will help keep you from setting the wheelie record for the strip. I learned this in 1989 on a v65 magna I set the record for wheelie clicking through second gear beating a Harley-Davidson in the end , it's was a puckering experience.
