Most of the small tire stuff is stock firewall, that mustang of Ryan’s is full on double frame rail car that is equal to his 2 Camaros.

I think it would be cool if each team running in NPK should have a small tire car and a big tire car.earn separate points in both cars.so there could be a championship winner in both s an b tire. But also have a bonus championship winner if the same driver if he wins points champ in both cars

Ok most of the 405 guys have invested soo much money to having a street big tire car, and a separate npk car. With small tire racing there would be a huge influx of no name drivers, especially if fastest in america goes small tire. I know discovery would rather have the biggest names battling for a fastest in america/and America's list.
That ain’t no small tyre car, that’s a purpose built race car. Small tyre cars are real cars cut & bent into “race cars”. There’s a big difference. There’s not many small tyre racers who can afford half that car Ryan’s building.

No wonder why chief said he wants to make as much big tire, no prep, small track races as he can. He'll be the one to make big tire racing bigger, or keep it going so its not lost. Then of course jackie has the small tire. They recently said the Corvette will be just a experimenting car but who knows with chief.
With street outlaws going small tire. My best guess is the cars are going to get so ridiculous with speed and money we'll see basically promod small tire cars that no one could afford. Just like npk cars. So we'll see street outlaws only racing each other but with small tire now.
I'm looking forward to see them all in a different car competing against each other not knowing how there cars can run . An a different format of figuring out who's the fastest of them all

Chief said he thinks a 10.50W is a small tire… it is not. He hates foxbody cars and basically said everyone thinks a 28×10.50 is a small tire bc the fox. He likes the W bc it fits in a G or A body. Long before this show there were classes in multiple bodies called super street outlaw. They ran 28×10.50 max tire for a 1/4 mile. My favorite type of racing bar none
You are seeing a bunch of small tire stuff on the OG 405 street outlaws because chief isn’t there anymore to say “no“. Quite a while back they had a small tire race on the show and all the main characters, Chuck, Dave, among others, agreed to put small tires on, and do all the necessary changes to run on them, but chief showed up with big tires and didn’t say anything about it until the day of the race.
