  1. Say what you want about NHRA but the Safety Safari would of been at Mikes door helping him out by time his car rolled to a stop. The delay to help him here is inexcusable. So glad he’s OK.

  2. The thing is u should always practice getting out of ur car fast. Do it till u can get u def a certain time then continue to practice it every few months. Mike has been doing this a long time. I’m sure he knows how to get out. But in a emergency situation some people panic and freeze.

  3. Glad he wasn’t wearing short pants like a lot of guys do. I see it a lot guys driving turbo and twin turbo LS cars and trucks wear a helmet a fire jacket and short pants makes absolutely no sense and this is a perfect example of why you should always wear all of your PPE’s glad Mike is okay.

  4. damn man npk need to step up there safety protocol….Justin and now Mike were the fire team took way took long to get there in my eyes….idk someone needs to be in the tower with binoculars or something so as soon they see a flame they tell the fire squad go… just seems like something could be done

  5. well these levels of cars all have halon systems for fire suppression but as you can see they don't always work and usually suppress the fire long enough just to get the driver out usually but yes the fire crew shoulda been rolling the second they seen the flames from under the car IMHO but ima know body what do I know lol
