Ryan Martin is a street outlaw racer who has done extremely well on the street and on the no prep surface. Ryan Martin is the back to back no prep kings champion and is the guy to beat. Greatness is one of the things that Ryan is known for and in this event at tucson, mexico was no different. Ryan Martin entered the great eight portion of the race program which is the top eight racers racing for more points and the glory of being one day the no prep kings champion. Ryan raced the fastest cars which included Justin Swanstrom and Robin Roberts. In the final of the great eight event Ryan raced the nola racer Jerry Bird in his nitrous assisted probe. Is it possible it get footage without this guy in every video yelling and betting people? Footage was better the other way, don't need some loud mouth with the commentary

I can do without the "Great 8" gimmick. I can also do without the "extra points" gimmick at the final rounds. They should quit giving a crutch for those who can't win any other way. Chasing Ryan Martin/Fireball has elevated some of the other team, and all the gimmicks in the world aren't going to make the grid fillers any more competitive. If Discovery needs to fill the air time, give it to the small tire class. I'd rather see racing than hear the alsorans gabbing.
