Hello Sim, to me, it's normal. But this is made for real TV racing, and you would expect that the team captains don't have to qualify, but Is that really cool or right? Hey, if you're that fast. You should deserve your spot by winning it, not just inheriting it. CONFLICTED ME! But their teams are still in. Go, teammates.

Absolutely not changing rules just to benefit a driver that is not fast enough to make the invitational absolutely not no matter who the driver is. Because honestly I think this is good for the show, because people started getting tired of just watching Ryan win, and now when he's actually struggling and not winning every race you want to change the rules to help him I see absolutely not Ryan needs to go back and get his car faster and more consistent
Everything I’ve seen about NPK this year I hate so far. I don’t like the team thing and the way would you change the main event. I never missed an episode of street outlaws shows before but I don’t think I’ll be watching it this year. There’s no tradition they keep changing rules every year how is anyone supposed to improve their stuff when you don’t know what rules you will be dealing under.

By definition, a team leader is just that. The idea that team leaders can possibly be left out of any invitational race, is absolutely absurd. Don't rig the system to take Ryan out, just level the field and allow drivers to step up and beat him. The entire idea of punishing Ryan for being dominant is garbage. Sounds like "Woke," everybody gets a trophy culture has crept into Street outlaws. Crappy.
The series is losing it's soul. What made the series so popular was that you knew the racers and their cars and their back story. Now they are just throwing money people at the series and knocking out the street racers from the competition. And drag racing is not a freaking "team" sport so why are they trying to kill what the series did so well which is watching street racers settle their grudges on an un-prepped track.
He got beat (out qualified) if he were allowed in, it would make it easier for him to potentially catch up. As far as Kye winning without Ryan racing, there are several cars that are as fast or faster than Ryan (Jerry Bird ) this year, if he had been there he would have got beat, getting out qualified should be the indicator.
I feel the same about the captains
All team captians should be in the race no matter what. Otherwise what is the benefit to being a team captian.
They need to give past Champions provisionals.Also past event winners could have some provisionals. That's how it should be done.
I'm so tired of you Ryan fans crying noone is keeping Ryan out if he had beat Jerry than he was 9n but he didn't it has nothing to do with anyone else Ryan just isn't racing as good as usual and it's possible he may not race in Kentucky if he can't race his way in so get over it
Total dumbass decision by Pilgrim to not have Ryan and the other team Captains race yet we wonder why the viewer numbers are dropping. I get the “hate” for Ryan as it’s kinda like the Patriots, Lakers, Yankees etc. but to be the best you have to beat the best and for the producers of the show to create fictitious circumstances that jeopardize arguably the shows most beloved & hated star even being in the production is “pure D dumbass.”
Viewership has dropped 40% from comfortably over 500k to now in the low to middle 300k range. What a bunch of stinkin geniuses.
Just my opinion Sim but when networks want a show to go away they’ll find a way to do so. See the firing of Chief…and oh yeah see Yellowstone.

Since the Procharger had extra weight added, Ryan and the others have to run each round at 10/10 (full send) which causes small problems or traction issues get blown out of perspective. Need to take a 100pounds off which will help Dave, Mike Bowman, Boddie, Murder Nova, Kayla, and Ryan.
Such a miss leading headline. He raced in the qualifiers and lost big deal that's been the rules for all seasons that you have to be in the top points to not race way in. They show race your way in on the show they always have. Also I bought tickets and was completely satisfied it was a great weekend went both days knowing Ryan wasn't in invitationals when I bought sat tickets. No one deserves to automatically be in even the biggest names. That would be like any sport automatically letting their biggest draw into the playoffs even if they didn't earn it that yr

If you want to be fair every racer needs to qualify every race, of you are not top 32 in et times then you don't race.
So you think he should get an automatic pass into the invitational because he is a 3 time champ? Look, I am a Ryan Martin fan and I see absolutely nothing wrong with how it’s happening. This year he hasn’t performed well when he’s needed to. For instance he went out first round at VMP. He’s way down in points and should have to race his way in just like everyone else. I’m eager to see if he can climb out of the hole he’s dug himself. That will be the true sign of how good he is.
The way you can look at the 4 Captain's not making the intentional. It proves how close the field is to each other. There's no ducks racing anymore. Anyone can win it now.

I’m pretty sure Ryan Martin wasn’t thriowithe the team points, and the singular driver points is a separate trophy, so he won the race he cared about and put the team best option in the invitational.
Honestly this new no prep kings style of racing is complete bullshit and I have stopped watching it go back to the old style of no prep kings racing. They hating on Ryan Martin cause he is the king of no prep kings racing what happened to every man/car prove that they are the best. Get real and get rid of this bullshit style of drag racing

I understand the disappointment of wanting to watch Kye beat Ryan Martin. But Kye beat the guy who EARNED a spot in the finals.
No one is against ryan. Everyone is playing by the same rules. If you want to see Ryan Martin compete and win a championship, there are three seasons of reruns — take your pick.
I was at Brainard and had no problem with Ryan or Dave not making the show. Why should they get handed anything, they didn't have the performance.

A racer shouldn't get into the invitational based on who they are. And being a team captain shouldn't secure a spot either. Race, do your thing, if your out your out. Everyone deserves a chance, no special considerations.
