I figured out that only drag racers love drag racing back during my first marriage, I had a 28” tire fox body, built a big tire 70 Nova BBC and couldn’t get my family to go to a race. It was boring for them to set and wait to watch me make a pass every couple hours. Me and my dad were the only ones going to the track.
For me, I wait to watch the race recaps until the NPK season airs. Yes, I know who wins by then but I just prefer watching the recaps along with the races.
Not to sound like a YouTube manager, but the reason the drag racing views are low is because the average person can't do it. NPK might as well be the NH&RA at this point. People watch things because they are interested in doing the activity. Cleetus gets higher view counts on his drag racing videos because the cars look more obtainable. (Some are and some aren't) If you want to appeal to more viewers, think about doing a sick week or RMRW. The reason YouTubers do so well is because the viewer has the possibility of running in the same circles. Lower the barrier to entry, and the views go up.

I really like the shop stuff, road trips, street racing with the more street car like cars y’all have. I really don’t watch the NPK videos, to me it’s far fetched from anything I do. I appreciate all the content, and I think the best part of the channel is that y’all all real car guys. You already have projects but the excitement of a new not needed project is a rush most people would never understand. Either way, keep doing what y’all are doing and I’ll keep watching.

My dad had a 85 short bed stepside. It was the ugly light brown color but it was perfect only35k miles I still remember it had these stupid wide tires on the back like15 inches no shit. It was a 305 four speed I was very young have no idea what happened to it my pops pasted when I was only15
