We took it back to legendary Rivergate Road in Memphis, Tennessee — the same street where Street Outlaws filmed and where countless underground races and historic events went down back in the day.

This Grudge on the Gate event was hosted by Dennis Bailey of BB&T Racing and Shaye Kelly, who worked with the City of Memphis to officially permit and shut down Rivergate Rd for an all-out Small Tire Grudge Race.

Racers pulled up from all over the United States and showed out, bringing serious power, real street cars, and nonstop grudge racing action.

Special moment for us — my brother Meller came down from Nashville after purchasing a Foxbody street car from the legendary Brian Britt. Brian worked with him, showed him the ropes, and helped get him ready to compete on one of the most historic streets in street racing history.

Memphis street racing culture is still alive — and HoltImages was there to capture it all.
