  1. Just shows how valuable Big Chief “was”. The show lost viewers as soon as Chief left the show, nothing against any other driver but Chief listened to the fans & tried to improve the show. This season got some rule changes that helped but chase is a race is bs.

  2. The tv ratings are bs, check the online views as in Britain they’re showing the 405 qualifying for this show so i as i assume many others around the world catch it online a few days after you see it on Discovery.

  3. Chase is a race kills it… America's List should be legit racing heads up off a light… The hustling, jumping and asking for the hit does not fit the show. Love him or hate him you can't have America's List without chief, he is the one who started it all. Get rid of the mso crew and chase is a race and put some faster cars in who will race off the light.

  4. Chief not being there really didn't make a difference to me. I agree with alot of people the chase is a race rule needs to be thrown out I don't like that crap. As I've also seen stated the protection for number 1 rule needs to be gotten rid of. I do like that they made the rule so if you win you race up. However if JJ takes over the show I will stop watching it. I dont care for him. I watch the show by streaming it after it has already played on TV so I don't have to watch commercials. That I'm sure is what alot of people do

  5. Now I cancelled "TV" and have been streaming on Discovery+. IDK if that reflects that. I think the show is becoming stale with all the fake made for tv bullshit, instead of having hardcore racers race, its the same old who can beat Ryan Martin. Chief sees that and regardless of his standing with "Cast" he isnt taking part in the fake bs.

  6. $250,000 cars, $600,000 in tow cars and trailers, money no object racing gets boring fast. Get back to real street cars, normal guy street car racing and ratings will rise… This NPK and Street Outlaws is like watching NHRA, kinda boring

  7. I watched all of season 2 but only watched first couple episodes of season 1. I just wanna see the racing can't stand all the drama bs they had in 1. 2 was more laid back and I think they had more fun. Now if they would get rid of that chase is a race bs it'll actually tell you who's faster. I don't care if Chief is there or not I'm a fan of all the racers not just 1. If the next season goes back to all the drama crap of S1 then I won't watch it.

  8. Ok….firstly, season one was all new. People didn’t know what to expect, so they watched. Drama, as much as people complain about it, they are still drawn to it. Second season had a lot less drama. A second point, people (including myself) don’t subscribe to Discovery and instead watch the downloads on YouTube. I’m sure that also affects the views. I’m sure the Chief lovers didn’t watch out of principle, even though no one still knows all that went on between Chief and Discovery. Hopefully there will be a season three along with some other changes that make things better.

  9. The format sucked didn’t Truly represent the fastest cars bobby should’ve never been in the top size X-Men should’ve been down at 20 and reach 12 times

  10. I personally liked season 2 better. Less hide and seek games, less sucker punching, and they finally got rid of Chief's made-up rule to keep number 3 from ever getting a shot to go up. I'll have to find the episode, but it certainly wasn't like that on the OKC list when Chief was number 1. My suggestion would be to bring it back to 20 cars so the rotation comes back around a little sooner.

  11. The Cumulative or “Cume” rating is very important. Those are the “channel scanners” and can be described as the new viewers. Street Outlaws and Pilgrim look at that to see if the show is growing or shrinking, or “the Big Chief” factor. We are the hardcore viewers, not going anywhere, and they aren’t worried about us. The Cumulative viewers are the ones they want to capture.

  12. This season of americas list was hard to watch because there was too many racers. The low bottom racers were boring to watch because all season they kept racing each other. The only races that mattered were like the top 11. It’s just to many racers. BS chase is a race rule. Plus like 15 mins of talking before every race is just a snooze fest

  13. Jump like a chump has to go. It kills the show
As discussed previously, reducing the number of racers week to week would keep the intensity up. Had a hard time giving a crap who was going to end up 20th in the final show… The current top 15 get a bye into the next one. Then, invite however many to race-off for the last 10 spots. Every two weeks, the bottom five get eliminated. Gives those racers that are winning enough time/rounds to make the cut and if they aren't, goodbye.
edit – lol, had to go on.. Like Murillo – I don't mind the guy but he brought a new-to-him, untested car that, turns out, could not compete and basically took a spot from maybe someone who could have done something. Birdman too – he's had that car for a while now; figure it out. Precious – did she win a race? Seemed like a list nosedive week to week. Contrast to the Bird brothers or Lee Roberts whose cars actually made progress and deserved to be there.

  14. I truly believe cheif being gone is definitely hurting ratings and I believe views being as high as they were for season 2 is because cheif fans watched just to see if cheif would come back!

  15. I record the show because 3 hours is to long i fast forward a lot of it i watch maybe a hour of it if the show is going to continue on this path I’ll probably stop watching it all together

  16. I liked it better the rules worked out better no back to back races against the same person over and over I mean I know gates and monza raced alot but they kept losing if you wanna go up win look at axman and Jerry bird them boys flew

  17. All good things come to an end. I have watched basically every episode of SO since it came on TV. I even watched the MSO show for a couple seasons. And Fastest in America for a bit. I haven't watched any of the NPK shows from the last 2 years and have quit the MSO and FIA.

I watched this season of AL it was super blah. I am a Chief fan and was sad that he wasn't there but still watched. Couple of things stood out:

The racing this year was better in the sense that there was more of it. They did a great job of getting rid of the running/hiding. And just race. That was the only thing that was better.

    1) The racing was terrible outside of a few people. When the bottom half raced, I fast forwarded til after. Several of those guys had ZERO chance of every being above 18-19. This list needs to be 15 max and they need to get rid of the guys who NEVER win and have zero chance of winning. The show needs to be 1 hour with nothing but gangsters racing. Halfway thru the season if the people who started 11-15 are still in 11-15, send them home and get 5 new people to come in. Or just trim the list to 10 at the halfway point. Gates, Monza, Varney, Birdman, Precious, Murillo were never going to challenge the top 10. And they aren't that entertaining. Chucky Davis wasnt going to win either or move up a lot but at least he was fun to watch IMO. The last half the season are just guys racing who have a shot. It would also mean more races for guys in the top 5 to make it to 1. The last 2 weeks the people below 5 never were gonna get a shot at 1 because of the the bottom 10 guys taking up time to race. Who cares if you finish 18 or 19. No different than being 22. But Kye, Axeman (who I dont care for but is stupid fast) could have challenged for #1 if they got 2-3 more races.

    2) Chase is a race is so bad. Almost makes it unwatchable. People cry when the other guy jumps. Then the people jumping cry when the guy sits.

    3) They desperately need some new blood who can actually compete and challenge people at the top. The same faces at every race is getting so old. Some of the people have never won or haven't won in years. Why are they still coming back? I guarantee you that there are YouTube guys who would run a season of AL just to see how they can stack up. Especially with less drama and more racing. Maybe they get their teeth kicked in. But that bottom 5-10 got theirs kicked in all year so what's the difference? At least its a new car and new face. Mix it up some. Part of the reason the show has gotten stale is that its always the same people.

Alas, this was all for nothing. Because the producers of these shows don't care about any of it long term. They will squeeze every nickel out of it and then trash it and move to the next project. At least we will still have YouTube.

  18. Chase as a race has to go when drivers are more focused on the hustle then the race fans will tune out. Yes the real streets the hustle is part of the game but when you host a event called Americas list where the top is the top people want that the top not some cheesy is he going to jump. Chief not being there I saw as a bonus nothing against Chief.

  19. Americas List has gotten boring. I’ve watched every Street Outlaws series since the beginning and stopped watching this weeks ago. Every episode seems like a repeat of the last.

  20. You can call me a hater or whatever, but I stopped watching America's list as soon as I heard Chief left because they try to villainize Chief and I think everybody's ego was inflated including Chiefs but it's lonely at the top and chief was the sole reason Street Outlaws was even a thing and to be at the top for over 10 years while trying to contain everybody's new ego while having off-screen problems of his own he probably alienated himself just as much as people alienated him for being the top dog. And the way that they edit the show to make it where everybody is sucking Ryan Martin's dick is just pathetic. I'm sure he's a great guy but the Rivalry between the good old boy Ryan Martin versus Big Chief the big bad evil guy was something that I think Pilgrim did intentionally because I think Pilgrim wanted Chief gone because they wanted to say that they can make this show as good with him or without him and frankly I can't even watch Street Outlaws unless Chief is on the show as race master. I mean let's have a little respect for tradition

  21. In my opinion, there's too many goddamn racers. I need to see at least two races from each car every show. There's too many back and forth wins and losses between the same people and Chase is a race is a freaking joke which is why Chief wanted to change the rules for America's list too since they did Chase the Race in season 1 and all the viewers hated it he tried to do what the viewers wanted and got rejected and we now see the viewers responded

  22. Also have to take into account that Discovery+ is a thing now too. Like I haven't watched any street outlaws live in awhile. I always watch it Monday morning when it comes out on there. So I'm sure there is tons of views on there and not TV

  23. I wonder if not having Big Chief on the show, had any effect on the ratings? I truly felt the difference, mainly because I'm a Chief fan. I respect what he has done for the "Street outlaw" brand.

  24. I think if it gets too be more BLUE COLLAR the numbers will go back up.When real street racing fans SEE a show named STREET OUTLAWS AMERICAN LIST and Every Racer pulls up in a 150,000 or more priced racing rig to carry the The 150,000 or more Race car.It is so far from street that it seems like a slap in the face of a REAL STREET RACE CAR DRIVER.These are the 100s of 1000s of potential viewers that will never fall for the Shows title compared to what it really is.

  25. Reasons 1) Chief wasn't there 2) MSO had been allowed to bring too many drivers 3) Chase is a race remained 4) more different drivers was good, but not so much MSO fooks 5)The decision change the rule with the consequence that Bobby Ducote was No.1 while not being challenged, was utter shit 6) the list eventually was too long and it strained the format 7) the hate for the 405 has visibly become so irrational and big that it simply hinders the show, all while the many MSO clowns in there really don't do it any good 8) Shawn is a great guy and i like what he tried as well as his style, but Chief was a sharper and more experienced racemaster and that was visible.
