You are making straight forward with your car
You have some big balls to race at these tracks
Sucks you drew Chicken the 2nd round. You get some passes on the Nova it will be fast. You made it to 2nd round after thrashing a car together. That's a W in itself. Getting to work/race with your uncle is priceless. Congrats and good job to both of you

Nice job matt maybe its just me but front ends looks ro set aboit 1-2" low if you could get it raised up i think it would help alot
No shame when you get beat by a "car" that doesnt have a front end and has exposed weights hanging off the rear…..next time go to a race that has organizers with some rules.They guys who allow this bs really need to clean up their act and weed out the bullchit nobody wants to see in the field.Start a unlimited class for all the scrubs that cant go fast without "cheating".You busted your ass and put the car together on short notice,thats a win!

If you only test on decent surface. When you get to these small tracks with bad surface. How will you know what to do to get your car down a bad surface? Maybe try at least one's testing on a bad surface? And you'll have data and info that can help you get down these bad, slimy surfaces. Just a thought. I'm older now I don't raise anymore. But I never tested my car at a track. Because I didn't raise any track. I only street raised. Therefore, I only test it on the street in the middle of the night.
