  1. I worked for a Harley performance shop and they’ve had clients upgrade just about every part of a M8 and the closest they’ve come is 181hp without a turbo.. Turbos don’t add all that much HP as you may think. They need aftermarket Valves, springs, rods, pistons, flywheel, just about everything to hit 200+HP

  2. Yeah that sucks that it wasn't laying up 350 ft/lbs, but displacement matters. There's a reason people aren't putting bike engines in work trucks. Still 223hp and 217lbs of torque is huge on a bike.

  3. So is it technically lying if I tell everyone that I actually seen a Road King special, making 350lbs of torque on a Dyno?? Yeah I knew that really wasn't a possibility, but if I say that I wasn't doing some wishful thinking/at the verge of forcing myself to believe it was true if only for a moment!!!!

    It's not even my bike, but I just might have been just as excited as all of you guys were. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out on the test ride, rather how you come out afterwards. Lol

  4. How would 350lbsft work with 8psi of boost anyway? Turbos aren't magic, it's a pressure multiplier….assuming all is good you will get a multiple of the NA power, ie if nothing else holds it back then 8psi (~0.5bar) boost would give approx 50% torque increase (and therefore power as power is calculated from torque as power is work done over time) as it has an extra 0.5 bar pushing air into the cylinders vs a normally aspirated engine only having 1 bar (atmospheric) pressure. There is no magic formula, that isn't how thermodynamics works! Ditto on the comment regarding someone going stage 1, 2 & 3 making more power than someone jumping straigh to stage 3…if the spec is the same then it will make the same power…the engine has no memory of the other stages it may have been at in the same way it has no memory of being made from old soda cans!
