Convenient process but your jumping the gun … it would be smart to do that after the car is finished that is bare steel your apply that chrome to. It will rust .. not to mention masking all that off just seems backwards. But great metal work
I wonder how many people realize the extensive work that Chad does in between Youtube sessions. Miles of welding and stripping to bare metal. Lotsa work. Great job, you guys.

I used it to separate my door panel carpeted area instead of a OEM chrome strip.
How did you get started with metal craft?
Chad you do good work but so much of it is repetitive. Weve seen the fake chrome many times. How about finishing the Bugatti?
Grill looks amazing im doing a 81 c10 chevy I will eventually be putting on custom chrome down the side same material as you used !
I hate to say thus but thar grill is ugly. I know u want it custom or whatever. But u should've had the original chromed. Painted the car black and dropped it with nice rims and move on.. look how long it took to make that ugly grill. Each is own..u have great welding and fab skills. But bad design skills

Chad, I live 20 minutes away from that company C. Cowles & Company and I still have to talk to the president because they used to make cigar lighters when the company was in New Haven CT and they were not aware if that since that was in 1912. The lighter has a replacement light bulb which was used as a map light as well. That company has been in business for 180 years.
They now focus on trim tape of different colors too.

Why not put the roll of plastic chrome on front valence with marker and save a lot of getting up and down? Just saying
The plastic chrome looks good, and Jolene your idea with the tape was excellent….. however the flat bar has no protection from rust….. what will you do to prevent that from happening Chad??
