Pain And Progress – The Charger Creeps Forward While The Fate Of Plan Z Is Decided

After 13 solid hours of block sanding, we’ve got about one third of the Charger done, and arms that feel like overcooked linguini, but we’ve had plenty of time to think and plan and now a clear direction for our Mule project has emerged.

  1. Too late, already in the trap. QUESTION is intake port modification with epoxy a hood or bad idea? Worried it may come loose and engine eat it. Any experience?

  2. After working in a restoration shop, it just baffles me, putting that much time to paint it and not remove the chrome or door handles.. Hell even still has the penastar on the bottom of the fender. If using Base clear, that clear coat will be peeling away from those areas in 2 years lol.

  3. The Charger is looking great! It was way cool to hear Steve Mags giving you such awesome much deserved kind words in one of his recent junkyard crawl videos, too!

  4. I can guarantee you that it was a whole lot easier when we were younger, I absolutely agree with that statement!
It sick when we have all of the knowledge and capabilities, but are to old and broken down to physically accomplish what we used to be c able to accomplish years ago, in less than half the time.
Also it's hard to trust anyone else to do the job properly other than yourself.

  5. Here's an idea if you're willing to take it on, convert a slant 6 from 4 stroke to 2 stroke. I think that would be super interesting and bet you would gain a broader interest from others.

  6. Thirteen hours of caffeinated sanding will definitely get the 'imagination' going…

Nothing more boring & minimally rewarding than sanding, whether it's a car, cabinet, or granite countertop.
