I hate staging duals and burn downs. I think after both cars light the first bulb, they should red light both cars after 4 seconds and after one car lights both bulbs, they should red light the other car after 4 seconds. Burn downs are intentional efforts to damage your opponents car.
All that said, I'm still glad to see Cooper doing well even though I probably would have disqualified him. lol
