We’re taking you back to 2013, to Great Lakes Dragaway, home of KOTS No Prep race. King of the Streets is the OG No Prep race of all the No Prep races. It’s where we first saw this style of drag racing and they must have been onto something because now you can’t cross a state in the summertime without running into a No Prep race along the way. Man, how times have changed. Cars were so much slower, but people just raced. No bickering, fighting as it got in later years. I miss the RSD days before it became too commercialized. I was able to pretty much turn GLD into a roundy round track. I think I made 30+ passes at one RSD. All small money or even no money races. Was a fun era.
