Episode 131 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage is all about going drag boat racing on the Colorado River and I’ve got good news; This is the first of two shorter episodes about the weekend and then I’ll also have a longer episode once I get home and have time to finish it. We are legit uploading this video from the racetrack on raceday. lol
And of course, nothing ever goes according to plan and the engine has water in the oil again! Hope you like this series. Check back Tuesday February 7th for Part 2. Thanks for watching!

Welcome to Parker AZ. Really enjoyed qualifying day watching you and the rest of the field trying to qualify. Didn't make it to eliminations on Sunday so hope you did well. See you and your crew next time.
Why does the camera look so rough? Maybe I'm not used to it?
I'm sorry Finnegan but it's been proven time and time again on many dynos, Ford engines make more power per cubic inch than Chevy engines do.
Why are you filming this through a letter box?
Why don't u speak with Greg Shoemaker in Corona CA. Or MPD in Southern California. Both these Guys Mike r really. Good . Have met both in 2005 when l was over 2 pick up my rebuilt Berkeley Jet .
Generally your alternator puts out 1 or 2 volts higher than the battery capacity and your ignition coil wants alternator voltage and it will have a hotter spark than if you are running off a battery that’s dropping off voltage as you go down the track.
Congrats, you now look like a tattoo free Bam Margera.
Need a snorkel on the air intake
how bout that clutch from last video haha your almost as bad as tony these days with breaking shit haha sorry
You've really got to stop trying to fix high power engines man… just stick to those 200hp road kill engines, you are good at that.
Man these videos would be so good with a tiny bit of colour grading. They're all just so flat and washed out. There's like one colour like a 50s western.
Damn that thing gets on plane quick!
The chevy guys break their engines all the time then shit on fords.
Love it. Brings back so many memories when I ran Comp Jet and Pro Gas Jet back in the 1990's. I absolutely love that boat. Good luck guys.
Why not run the motor during the of season to test ? Your videos can be hard to watch somtimes due to the, show up at the race to rebuild approach.
Engine builder: “We built a bulletproof engine that will stand up to anything “
Finnegan: “Hold my beer, cuz I’m about to milkshake the shit outta this shit!”
Why no dyno time before taking it out?
Mikes milkshakes bring all the boys to his garage
To tear down
Another big block
Damn right
He sent a rod
It’s going
To the scrap yard
Fuck satan and all of his coward followers
good luck im rooting for you , even though i'm a ford man
Why not just fill the block and run it on methanol? No more water cooling.
My uncle used to raceNational Jet Boat Association boats, Aric Breyer #571. NJBA Champ.
Finally, speedboat content maybe if we lucky we will find out what really happened to the engine
