Here we go, Street Outlaws NPK is here at Rockingham Dragway. No Prep Kings is a race like no other. We were there running small tire on Friday and Saturday. Friday, we were having issues making the car work so we got up early this morning to make more changes. We do educated guesses, and never have time to make just one change at a time. So we make 4-5 changes, and hope for the best. LOL.

You go boyeee!
The crowd is cool. The floor jack under the rear axle while you're spinning the tires and revving the engine is not.
Brantley gonna be one bad ass driver/ car builder when it's all said and done!! he will know it all
First round it looked like it was flyin!
Next time you and Brian are at a race try and say your not going to draw each other first round and really believe it. You ever heard of thinking things into existence? Both of you saying it or constantly thinking it just because it’s happened before causes you to draw each other every time. I swear it’s a thing, look it up!
Wow remind me of an HRA event had quite a few people around your pit watching you fire up the car that was really cool
John, do not spool up the car on the Trans brake in the air, they need full car weight and the wheels on the ground and to have a load on the transmission, if you let go of the button you will roll the sprag and damage the transmission mainly the sun gear and brake/bands.
So be very careful with that and always drop it after warming up the driveline before spooling up. Also it is really tough warming up in the air on cam/belts too, vs driving the car around.
Just saying my 2 cents brother, to help you avoid the eventual pitfalls.
Sounds good!!!! Just don't remember your old motor smoking like the new motor does.
Whatever is up with that crankcase moisture coming out the breather system and tank, it fully clears up at about 330 ft. JOHN, so the piston rings are definitely sealing to the cylinder walls…I can see that on the roof go pro footage before 18:22 of the video during the run.
I would have suspected the opposite to happen, but the vid does not lie. Strange happenings. As it completely flat stops in the middle of the run. Alum. Tolerances get to close up with more heat but you are back to running water in the block and radiator back on it.
Is it possible that new fuel pump just puts out a lot more pressure than the old 1, and when she is eating in high gear it is perfect, but low down too much fuel pressure?
What is the the GT500 running for an engine?
I was there and watched some kid run into the back of a green mustang, with a pit bike! The driver lost his mind!
John can you do me a favour and tether the front of your lower bar, so if the the rod end brakes it dosent drop down dig in to the track and flip you over just saying
Hey man it was awesome seeing you at NPK you are awesome and we always look forward to seeing you
Love the little guy in the background cleaning on the motor at beginning of video.
I've noticed a lot of guys hitting a switch right after the pass, including you on this pass. What are you turning on or off? I'm about to order my switch panel from race wire solutions and wanna make sure I get all the switches I need. They can make there Rocker switches control 2 different items. I had heard that guys turn the fan or water pump off during a run?
Safe Travels Brother John!!
I thought it was an unspoken thing to never test the two step without the car down on the ground.
