NOT GOOD! MY CHEVY C10 DOES SIXTH GEAR, 200 MPH BURNOUTS AND GOES HOME ON A TRAILER!

In Episode 230 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage, I venture to Bowling Green, Kentucky, the Home Of Holley and Jessie’s Garage, a local shop with a sweet chassis dyno. Jessie was kind enough to allow us to strap my 1967 Chevrolet C10 to the dyno to finally finishing tuning the Terminator X EFI system. The end result was unleashing an additional 200 hp from the Chevrolet Performance LT4 supercharged engine and doing epic burnouts in every gear of the six-speed sequential gearbox.

  2. First off.. don't get an interchiller … the coolers aren't designed to go from hot hot temps to freezing temps, just F's em and F's your AC as well.

Second, you seem to have alot of motor to bonnet clearance, have you considered an aftermarket lid, with both blower and lid spacers?
Kong performance, or Harrop etc etc
From memory its a stock LS9 too right? No BTR or TexasSpeed cam swap?

  3. Damn! Finn got old! – Me, watching this, after just binging Old Roadkill.

looks in mirror, compares to ten year old selfies

    Guess it wasn't just him 🙁 🙁 🙁

  4. Enh…customer at the Corvette restoration shop, where I worked in the '80s to mid '90s in St. Louis used to hang around every day while we restored his '65 396 Roadster. He bought an old, beat-up 1980 1 ton St. Louis Gas Company Chevy truck and built an actual, no shit, nascar motor and put it in the truck. He bought cans of Turbo Blue for it, and it was a 13:1 legit cup motor he bought from a friend of the Wallaces. It had a 4.10 locker and an SM465 trans. It had the biggest header tubes and collectors I'd ever seen, bc they were Cup headers, and they were open. No other exhaust whatsoever. He left out of the shop on a Sunday morning, right as the Catholic church was starting its service. I can make myself remember, now, 32 years later, how I had tenitus for 2 days after he did that burnout in front of us. It was so loud that it made us disoriented. We used to run L-88s and 435's on a break-in stand before we put them in the cars, and they sounded like Teslas compared to that truck. So, loudest truck, EVER? Maybe not.

  5. GM's injection is around 4300 psi on direct inject systems.
The problem is most of the injectors are almost at the max flow with these systems not much over head as I have been told by Bosch.

  6. by putting ya belly on the roadyou are taking weight off ya tyres , my three wheeler can do that if i take the weight of the tyres , lol , sorry , hugs

  7. I've been waiting for Holley support for the LT4. Literally just got off the phone with Holley tech support (4/13/23) and they said there is no support for the LT4 and have no idea if there ever will be..This original video came out like 2 months ago…HOLLEY will you be supporting the LT4 or should I just go in another direction?
