We go across the country to pick up a beast that was developed and raced by the manufactures back in the day. It has an amazing history and will lead us to many more adventures. We also may just be addicted to Mopars now.. They have so much cool history.

Not dumb, Save that history. Restore it. And you'll know what races to take it to and what races to enter. Just keep saving the history.
I say do the least you can to it to make it driveable/safe'ish. Maybe add an alternator and just go thru and modernize some of the electronics so it doesn't burn the shop down. Modern master cylinder. Leave it as an exhibition racer. Be a shame to chance getting it wrecked it on the highway.
Painted Coyote Duster on the barrel of my 105 howitzer in Viet Nam 68
That’s a sweet old Mopar looks like some nostalgia super stock racing in your future.
Wow what a piece of history. I remember reading about them in Hot Rod magazine. How about nostalgia drags. It should fit in. Figure out what makes it wheel so good. Altered wheelbase is probably the culprit. Fix the pan and do a skid plate to protect it. Have fun with it.
Cool car and history. Nice job on the interview Tom always funny and fun.
smart'est move so far keep it up
Keep it as is. Fix freshen up some things. Leave the rest as is.
Now you need to find a 71 72 Demon Pro Stocker as a compliment to the AFX car so I can continue to live vicariously through you!!!!!!
No that is a great piece for you that was a goodbye I would buy that all day long
Smartest decision ever made that thing is cool I remember that car from back in the day you need to keep that forever no matter what can make a driving drag car or just have fun with it not many altered wheelbases around for sale my buddy had one like that back and about 89 it was a replica but it was done well thanks for the great video I love old school it had a big block Chevy in it the Mopar kicks didn't like that but oh well
Cars are built to be driven. Drive it everywhere. Race it everywhere. Break it. Fix it. Repeat. They only have one purpose.
Drag and drive,share history,burn rubber!
Have Steve Mags do a junkyard crawl of this car. He’s way into altered wb cars.
Not a Mopar Guy but love the history, would be proud to own any of them.
Drag and drive for sure. Doesnt have to set any records, it would just be soo cool if it made it the week.
Absolutely a drag & drive! The nostalgia is worth sharing around the country.
Very cool!
Update and race it drag n drive.
Tom don't cut that thing up. Leave it as it is, better yet sell it to me. I use to race with the Midwest Nostalgia Super Stocks in the late 80's early 90's. Great group of guys. Love your content
not dumb , can I drive it ?
you could have just stopped filming at the 70 road runner coupe!
Run it on drag and drive events and at the track, run a full load of nitromethane. Cuz nitro is for winners
Keep it, do as little as possible to make a drag and drive car out of it, and start a nostalgia class.
Keep it Hemi.. update with electronic fuel injection.. and maybe a lil laughing gas
Bad ass my uncle had the 64 factory drag car with the hemi and the aluminum front end such awesome cars
It needs to be a drag and drive car
Thank you Tom. Showing some love for all muscle cars of all manufacturers. Anything from from the pacific rim. Is Ricer Crap and this whole tree huger greenie weenie
crap is total Bullshit!! Thank God for fossil fuels ! I love the smell of Nitro Methane in the morning. God Bless America !
Cool for the street but would really like to see it on hte track where it belongs kinda.
Leave it be and race it at Mopar races.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A STREET DRIVER OUT OF IT…!
Personally you can drag and drive any vehical, it would be great if it could stay as a piece that is period correctly and piece of history, it is still in brilliant condition
Put a Steve Morris hemi in it. Take it to drag and drive
I would not mind seeing it as a drag and drive. I don't know about that with that vintage block, but as long as it maintains hemi heads im sure Steve can make something work
