The Texas Motorplex and their Stampede of Speed is well underway. Sunday night was the Stars Over Texas Music Festival but the Motorplex being a dragstrip it wasn’t lost on the stars in the cars to stomp on the loud pedal when given the opportunity. Scott Palmer rolled out his Scott Palmer Racing NHRA Top Fuel Dragsters with Alex Laughlin at the wheel as well to provide early fireworks along with the Game X Change Jet Dragster Team. You could feel and hear the power all the way to the concert area as it was live streamed. Drag racers weren’t done in the concert night either. Matt Hagan of TSR Nitro, and multi-time #NHRA Funny Car Champion pumped up the crowd before the main act. It’s good to see drag racing, its drivers, and media type such as Joe Castello get such exposure that the Texas Motorplex and their #StampedeOfSpeed is providing.
