Not every weekend racing is going to produce the desired results, and such was the case this weekend. BUT! The Malibu is showing signs of an increase in power with the new -6 Nitrous Line and new NX Lightning Solenoids. PLUS, Kenny gets a NEW ATM CARBURETOR for his Camaro!

Gosh.. such a good wife.. good woman brother… Seriously.
Also… Who the hell uses a wire like that to charge a battery… Like .. no… Stop it…
Kenny just need a new wiring kit for it and start from scratch
Hey bubba your at the top of your hydraulic cam .. You might try a better spring to keep the hi RPM gremlins at bay thru the traps but with your 700R4 I'm not sure a trans brake will do much for your 700R4 longevity .. We have had lots of great performance using a Beefy race prepped TH350 .. Now I'm not trying to tell you to shit can the 700 . But the TH350 set up right is nearly bullet proof with a small block ..and can take lots of abuse and still drive you home…I'm more than a little surprised this guy Kenny you claim is a Car guy ? So the wiring nightmare i seen running along the top of the inner fender on the drivers side of this camaro is indicative of a guy who is lacking in the automotive electronics area because everyone I know always OVERSIZES the wring to keep amps up and heat down ..
I'm wondering how much of kenny's issues are Kenny made …?
Bill, what/who is that guitar lick at the end of your videos? I like it & curious to hear some more but my Shazam can't identify it! Keep up the great content!
We had a over heating problem on my small block we put a freeze out plug on the bottom of the water pump with a 5/8ths hole in the freeze out plug cooled it down never a issue after that. Hope it helps.
Love your channel. But it's hard to swallow that the wire from the alternator to the battery was installed that way by anyone from your family or Kenny Powers.
Vickie is awesome.. Always listens to y 'all's problems and offers some moral support! Enjoyed the video and shenanigan's… Glad to hear your Dad is feeling better!
Love the tech tips ,especially from someone that’s been there and done it . It’s the little things you say that I enjoy the most. Great family relationship too
Why don’t you just spray it on the fun half instead of the back half
I wish I knew the history of running hot. So far, I've seen a lot of heat complaints across the board from folks who keep a shroud on a direct mount electric fan, which does not need shrouding and actually prevents air flow at road speed. I can't really see the shroud in the video, so I can't make that assessment. I can, however see that without the hood, a low pressure is created just behind the header, pulling the air up and over the core support instead of forcing it through the radiator. If you're going to run it without a hood, make a piece of sheet metal to close that hole between the header panel and the core support. A lower air dam will also help put more air up in front of the core support, especially if you plug that hole.
;help Kenny out
Bill my old F-Body with a bone stock 305 would overheat at cruising speeds after a raccoon took out the factory air dam. Replaced air dam, no more problem.
Something I’ve always wondered is
WHAT editing app do you use?
Love the Malibu. I have a soft spot for 'em. I've owned more than a few of them and raced a 79 for about 15 years.
Happy birthday Bill hope you have a good birthday
I like watching your videos and you guys are awesome people and can't wait to Kenny's car racing with out problem
Overnight parts from Japan next time
In my experience an understanding of density altitude has been limited to aviation…it plays into a freighter coming out of Hill AFB differently than from WRAFB. It takes more power to get off the ground with low density altitude than at high. Now I’ve heard it applied to racing. WTG.
You could see the nitrous kick in
I always seem to have to work on a Holley so I switched years ago to Barry grant and I have always had good experiences with them. Just saying
I'm really surprised they haven't named Kenny the butt connectors king, and use what you find and make it work lol.. I am really glad the 4 previous connections didn't burn it down and unfortunately the 12 guage red power wire just can't feed the amperage load to the alternator.
And I remember one new carburetor I was really impressed with,, Edelbrock performer 1407 750cfm manual choke I referred to as the drag carb stout sweet carburetor but on the cammed SBC k20 86 Chevy truck it went from about 8mpg to 5 1/2 mpg and almost abismal part throttle response,$424 and I ended up getting a Rochester gm 83 GMC Sierra 400sbc m4mc 750cfm and had great part throttle response and the mpg got almost 9mpg and I am like sweet ok I will just leave it a qjet but I will save the Edelbrock performer 1407 carb for a toy if I ever acquire the car I'm wanting to build it for..
I hadn't heard of ATM carbs myself but as far as running with the exception of Kenny's electrical repairs lol it ran stout and strong as you hit into it definitely impressive Bill sir, maybe the right way for the Malibu to help get off the line better sir?!
I really enjoy your videos I recently found your Chanel I keep watching this summer love to head to a track watch u guys I got 99 cobra with a procharger merry Xmas
who is the idiot that put that 12volt wire on the alternator?
Hello Bill. When will your series of E85 carbs be available from ATM?
