Its a 71 Charger
Where is the 72 ????
I have a hard cover Mopar Performance book with a 1970 copyright date. It has a photograph of a prototype 1971 383 Six Pack engine, but the engine wasn't certified in time for the 1971 model year. Chrysler then planned a 1972 400 Six Pack engine, but when it was decided that it couldn't have a high compression ratio, it was scratched from production. The 1972 400 did get the Thermoquad carb, which was bigger than any 383 carb.
