We filmed Episode 331 a month ago, which means for once we are actually ahead of schedule. lol. It’s weird to even type those words. Anyway, this one is about the 1998 GMC Sierra work truck that Joe and I put together last October in preparation for its debut for the annual SEMA Show. While the truck ran and drove into the show and looked great, it was far from really being finished and road-ready. Before we could have real fun behind the wheel we had to get the transmission tuning for the Gearstar Level IV 6L90 worked out.
That required a few hours of time spent with Jeff Harris of Mo’s Speed Shop in Dallas, Georgia. Jeff plugged his laptop into the OBDII port of the truck and was able to manipulate the tune so that the truck would shift properly so we could drive at more than 1/4 throttle. While we haven’t strapped the shop truck down to the dyno rollers to see how much power it makes, we did road test it and take it to our local 1/8 mile dragstrip to help donate toys for local kids who didn’t have much for Christmas. Hope you enjoy the video, our next one will be about prepping Blasphemi for Sick Week 2025.

Those two trucks at 15:18 would like to have a talk about old body style
I freaking love the blue on that OBS
Please learn how to walk while holding the camera steady. You got me feeling sea sick.
10:21 – Walks up to the prettiest car there, then points camera at the one next to it.
Looks like the Barracuda has a V8, but isn't a FormulaS. Wish we'd gotten them here, a '66 would look great sitting next to my VC Valiants.
maybe the sound of the truck is intimidating.
We’ve got a couple of budget built C10’s and our favorite thing to do is outrun these $40k built LS/LT swapped deals. It’s always the same excuse about the tuning or the lack of traction control. Lol.
That obs would be a great giveaway vehicle.
I hate OBS who the hell started calling it that all of a sudden. Gawd damn dumb
Caddy gets done when it gets done. I like to know what's up the 6sec car (Acura)? I want to see that done and you go 6sec or faster.
Paradise dragstrip is about an hour away from my house.
Sweet truck!
The break balance seems of. The rears locked up when you breaked after the burnout.
truck looks awesome, i noticed your rear brakes locking up when you go to stop after the burnout….. looks like the brake bias might need adjustment or if you ever get into an Ohhhh SHi….. monment she gonna bring the rear end around on ya…. Mo's speed shop for the win!
Please take the factory 1500 badge off the side; it totally kills the look and makes it look like somebody couldn’t figure out how to remove an emblem but still wanted to do a stripe package
Tell us about your headliner! That’s is much nicer without trim.
