MOTORCYCLE GRUDGE AND STREET RACING EXPLAINED! AFTERDARK HIGH STAKES NITROUS NO BAR DRAG BIKE BATTLE

Motorcycle fans come with us to Maryland International Raceway as we take a close look at the grudge racing / street bike racing scene after dark at Maryland International Raceway at the XDA Super Bike Showdown. As you will see in the video, other than basic safety requirements these nitrous drag bikes and ferocious all-motor HAYABUSAs, GSXR 1000s, ZX-14s and more are not bound by any rules. It’s all about setting up a big race with a rival. The scoreboards are turned off and the time slips are cut in half so that only the rider and his or her team know what elapsed times and speeds they are running. Some use the Grudge session simply as a test session to get more track time. At the end of this clip we watch a competitor go for a wild ride when he slips in his own coolant. Check it out.

  1. 90% of the time most street bikes with true hand clutch setup act different when the bike get too much grip even with a Brock's mod and a lot of street races now of days don't know how to measure they stack height or even know how to inspect their clutch baskets Springs so they can get a better lunch if you pay attention 2 a lot of Street racers they their tire pressure too low and though they put away too soon and that's one thing you can't do at the racetrack on your average street bike

  2. Street racer 4 life.
And yes, I've done jail time, lost my bike (twice, never to see those rides again).
And one trip to the hospital.

Street racing is real bikes, many are daily rides for there owner.
    No rules, no BS.
    Run what ya brung.
Oh, and bring cash, a lot of it (it anit like on TV with guys putting 100k into a engine, then racing for 500 bucks).

  3. Grudge racing for the win. If you can talk to the crowd and talk more about how it works and how the crowd is involved, you may get more people watching.

  4. By far not the fastest grudge bikes….. get down south to the asphalt and opportunity races for fast grudge…. never heard of any of us grudge guys street racing…. bikes are to much for the street… some of the stuff you say is a bit of a stretch. Bike was not over heating….. was just dripping on the exhaust and steaming.
