its sucks to hear you say.."pay cut"..you are an original cast member from the shows conception..money shouldnt be an issue..Discovery should have stepped up..many of us were excited to see the new car tearing up the no prep kings tracks..hope it all works out buddy..the car looks wicked
Mixed thoughts on this. First is that it's hard to feel bad for a guy that spends 500,000+ on a car 150,000 on trailer and totter home and cant afford to go race, (not really saying you cant afford, but without going broke). You have been living off and relying on your 15 min of fame. and there is nothing wrong with that. Hats off to you for being able to make money doing what you love. At 56 just have fun and enjoy life man, while you can.
Second, I say try to find some sponsors and give legit pro mod racing a go. By that i mean screw NPK and all the tv crap.
I by no means mean that NPK is not legit but the drama of the cameras and making a show of it changes it.
Much respect Jerry and Brandon you guys have always worked your asses of I consider you one of the realist people on the show period since day one. I remember from the beginning you having to remind people when you were betting that you hung drywall you are an inspiration to us real guys working to do something we love I wish you guys the best and hope you get that bad bitch on the track and kick some ass brother if anyone deserves it it’s you!
I personally think you do what's best for you guys and your family which are your team. I can't believe that since you've been racing for the brand of Street Outlaws the last 11 plus years, that you don't get the same or a similar contract to race anywhere the brand races. I've been a fan since day one. You guys are, and will always be my favorite S.O. Racing Team. I'll always be your biggest fan. You were always at the top guys! Hope to see you there again soon!! Good Luck and we hope to see you in Boise Idaho or possibly Spokane Washington this year!! Go Team Monza!!

I don't blame you I wouldn't take a pay cut either. Running a car of that caliber is top tier and no one racing that series should be expected to take a pay cut. Small track appearances is what i'd be booking people will come out to see it I have no doubt about it.

I wish I was 30 years old instead of 66i would come help for nothing. I have a CDL and do mechanical work l sleep in the trailer on the floor. I think it would be a great experience anyway I wish you the best
Best of luck with what ever you do with the new car, I know it will be awesome and like always it will be done your way. The quest to make street outlaws disappear is now on full blown…teams …really that’s just a load of crap and I’m betting it’s a huge flop and now it’s not about racing it’s now about drama . I miss the old 405 show .

NPK is a tough series! You gotta win or place high to make money. Sucks but this the best of the no prep racers in the nation. It cost money just gotta get in those top spots.
The amount you earn by selling merch is directly related to how you present yourself to the fans. You've done this for 11 years, but last 4 years are full of you saying I can't, I won't, I don't. Were you in Australia with Murder Nova? Did you ask them to be there? Where are the racing videos on your Youtube channel? There are only 2 testing sessions and one is Brandon's. All I hear from you is mumbling. Your son is what keeps your program alive, and I think if you want to keep living by doing this on TV the way is you help Brandon build his NPK persona, make him help tune a NPK team cars this year. Make him be the car whisperer he is for a year. Next year he will be an NPK driver, And a successfull one. He has the will, the attitude, and the drive. The hotheadedness will mellow over time. Just my 2 cents.
