Love those wheels!! And the rake is Awsome!
Looks good brad, I do like the steering column…. I did it is one of the best the other brand is flaming river I believe..
Looking GOOD !!!
Nice to see you and Moose back! On the stearing box, normally gear oil is okay but many times the lower seal leaks on the pitman shaft so many people will use grease.
Cool over 6 k more videos now we hope but I know with work and all hard to do , going to get insulation soon ? Does heat work ?
Like the wheels, they fit the old school vibe
LOVE the Weld Pro Stars!!!
Can't go wrong with Drag Stars!! Nice looking hotrod with the wheels
Lol, couldn't help but to laugh, when you said, it took a couple of tries before you got it right !! But, in my case it took up to three tries b4 getting it right…
I love the height it might be easier to put in adjustable rear shackles. Love the videos… keep them coming
Tri5mob rules!
Man, that firewall is looking good but I was hoping for some Crager 5 spokes.
Nice work on the steering column. In and out and in and out. Do what you gotta do. Do like the wheel and tire choice. Guess the next big reveal is the body colour(s). Look forward to the next one. Be safe and stay well.
The Weld wheels are badass and perfect for that application. Ya can’t lose goin ole Skool
I've owned a lot of old cars and pickups, most of those old steering boxes leaked. Lots of people just fill them with grease. Obviously grease gets a 'bit' thick in the winter. I started using 105 lubriplate.
Love them. Good choice. Cant wait to it done.
I know what you mean i have been working on my 1971 442 for 10 years way way too long
The 55 is looking good, nice work on the steering column, I think you can use Lubriplate 105 in the steering box and be fine.
You need to pull top cover off steering box and put grease in it after you clean it out
Should have put Cragars on., but your going to drag it .
Great job buddy. I love the wheels and tires can't go wrong with those. Great job on the steering column and steering box too.
Brad, the car looks great on those wheels. Good choice and good progress.
Hey Brad it's coming along, just enjoy the time when you do get to work on it, soon you will be turning the key. I'm back on the 1938 Willys 2 Dr Sedan getting the frame plated and building ladder bars, I love the fabrication, looks pretty bad a$$ setting on the suspension with the old school Super ET 5 spokes,Mickey Thompson 10 by 29 slicks, nose up a little bit. Well hang in there yours is coming along nicely, yes we got a little snow and cold weather here too but it's that time just have to make the best of it, later Tony.
Looking good!
I like the Drag Stars
I always use white lithium grease in the early steering boxes, fill er up.
Hi Brad, good choice on the steering change out. that bent rod would have caused grief in the future .The wheel and tire combo is spot on, and i really love the raked look, but thats just me. Good luck on the hunting, i havent been out yet. Waiting till next weekend to start the hunt. Anyway , more video,s please.
Looks awesome. Love the fat meat. Keep Mobbin'
That looks good
Hi Brad. It shows.
The 55 is coming together and looks awsum, can not wait to see it finished, and would love to hear the big block sedan delivery singing again too.
Personally, I love that 70's style stance. I always have. Nice choice in rims and tires.
I like the wheels and tires ! Especially the fat back ones, All tucked up under there !
Watched a couple vids on your FiTech. How’s it working out for ya?
Wheels look great. Always liked those on a '55. Good choice.
Nice wheels
Nice little video 55' is coming along nicely good job
She's starting to come along!
Another great video Brad. Ran those same wheels on my ‘55 for 15 years or more – I really like them and awesome choice in my opinion. Cool on the line lock action too and just think of the view you’ll have with this sitting along side your delivery. Good luck on your elk hunting and we’re headed out elk hunting as well.
Looking Good – Did moving the rear diff back 5/8 of an inch work out for you? – I just caught a glance and those big boots looked good. – Thread in a grease zerk and pump away on the steering box..
