Over in Europe the VW Tuning scene is crazy. You've got Jetta and Golf builds doing crazy numbers out there. The Jap cars dont much attention out there because of it. Underrated cars with a lot of potential.
Back in 2008 I had a Rb25 swapped 240sx. I was full bolt ons with a SAFC tune and a manual boost controller. I ran a flash tuned 5th gen GTI and we were door to door from 20 to 140 mph. VW earned my respect that day.
I think if the evo had e85 it would take care of the GLI with good shifting

The 20 G turbo in the Evo nine is actually pretty damn good E85 low 400s to the wheels should take the GLI

I prefer realistic races like these, instead of the usual 80k+20k mods car vs 80k+10k mods car. Yeah they’re fun, but these races are more relatable.
