  1. While it is the premise for a show, the race track has an obligation to those paying to attend to give them the best racing. Nothing should be staged as to who is in or out. The best racers should be racing. If an OG doesn't make it, too bad. It's a tough spot as many do show up to see the likes of Ryan Martin and Murder Nova and want to see them race. The fans may have to watch them in the Big Tire event instead. No participation trophies in NPK.

  2. Street outlaws started out with who was the baddest in okc. Then the baddest city. Then country. I personally dont want to watch someone who cant keep up. And if they suck i want to see people rise and gut it out. But if they cant and artificially kept there, that is something i wont watch. Might aswell watch politics on the news at that point.

  3. Restrictions on size of crew to only 3 or 4 persons including driver. Cars must have working exterior lights. Cap on salaries to see who really does it for the race, keep the prize money the same. Anyone else have ideas?

  4. No prep kings has stepped up to a very professional level these days. The OG racers that have failed to raise up to the new level have fallen behind. If you think back to when Lissy and Pat arrived there was grumbling with a lot of the guys back then about the level of professionalism they brought with them. Ryan has always run his stuff with a similar attitude and his results showed that. Honestly Dominator, Doc, Monza, Murder Nova and Dave where out there with maybe a one guy or two, and some part time chassis and engine tuning assistance. Honestly these guys failed to properly step up there deals and their operations to stay relevant on a performance level, and in fairness from a business level as well. In short they to a greater or lesser extent failed to grow their income streams outside their contract monies from the TV stuff. It fairly simple really, NPK can develop new stars and people whiling to make the effort. Justin Swanstrom has done it. From "who are you new kid on the block to team captain and involved it would seem in everything the TV folk are doing. This guy made the effort, he self promoted on Social Media, he took every opportunity to be front and center, he built the car, the right team, the right drive line and committed to the deal. Can we say the same for some of the OG guy's. I love that doc and Dominator are doing well, this year and have finally got their shit sorted, Dave with his recent win is really only showing the type of performance we've expected, But and I hope its not true for a few of these OG guys it may be to little to late. Monza choosing not to run on his dime for the producers maybe shows them their decision was the correct one, and I for one was really looking forward t that team and their new deal this year

  5. I had made plans to attend two of the races this year that I won't be going I don't like it and I don't like nothing about it The team deal sucks I think they're done

  6. It's all coming ro an end soon Sim.i thought NPK was gonna take over.but by the time they get enough drivers for a legit series the drama will have killed it!! Mega cash days even tho small tires is a better deal!!

  7. I started watching the 405 guys! Don't really want to watch a bunch of rich kids whose parents pave the way for them! Og street bred outlaws! That's what I started watching!

  8. guys can we leave npk alone ITS TRASHHHHHH ewww it makes me sick man i like small tire or ———– as i said from day 1 i am a 1/4tr mile racer not 1/8th promods WHO WANNA SE PRO_MODS HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THEY WASHED UP

  9. I feel like you’re way off in left field on this topic.…… it’s just like any other sport like I said, and even NHRA I’m not trying to compare no prep Kings to NHRA but at this point I have to…… And it is nothing about the rules. It’s about what you’re trying to bring up, just like in the NHRA John force was winning every year and then all of a sudden he’s not very good from year to year and you can say that because age or whatever. I don’t believe thats the case….. I feel like all the competition finally stepped up. and finally got better which made for better racing………. I mean I feel like everybody wants Ryan Martin Win or they don’t want Ryan Martin Win, so it’s all about Ryan Martin at this point instead of the TV show or the race itself. I’ve been around racing my whole life and I actually live less than a minute from a dragstrip myself. And I’ve seen the ups and downs of drag races….. when the street racing. No prep stuff came in. I was the first to say yeah it’s cool as hell. I love watching it. I watched all of the beginning street outlaws back when they were probably only running 5.00 to 6.00 on the street but now I’m gonna be honest I can’t stand to watch the street outlaws show itself. I’m not talking about no prep Kings. I’m talking about street outlaws they used to do a list. And that was cool as hell every year people would get on the list, to get on they had to beat the number 10 guy and so on and so forth. And I’m curious if that list even still stands today from back before no prep Kings he was started, But with that all being said, they started to switch the show and do this and do that, and it pretty much pushed alot Of fans away in my opinion from watching…. There at the end it was the same 10 guys racing for the same 10 spots every week on the show. which #1 I felt was a little selfish in their part because basically those 10 drivers were the only thing on the show, which you never seen anything different unless they went out of town While those shows were always fun….. but 2nd from that The guys that were at the bottom of the list or had been featured from out of town, are the ones who pretty much came up with the whole no prep Kings things from racers like Reaper, racers like my fellow, Ohio native disco Dean as well as Texas racer, Mike Murillo, and so on and so forth there’s a lot more I can name or even throw Scott Taylor in there but these guys all came together and came up with a whole new series and platform and they wanted all the people around the world to get in and have a chance instead of the same 10 guys driving on the street on this list that only consisted of 405 guys, so that’s how no prep Kings kinda came about which gave everyone a chance…. I know you’re seeing all these faces and of course Ryan Martin has won in the last three years. Great for him you know and these guys are on street racers and no prep whatever but they could all leave all 10 guys from 405 and they could go and race on the street all summer against each other and make a show and I think if they left that no prep Kings people would still watch NPK and others may just watch 405 list show…. there’s too many great races out here who love to do this stuff and that have been on TV or are about to be on TV that just makes me happy and I think makes a lot of other people happy getting to see all these new guys come up and try to make a name for their selves. It’s kind of like keeping the little man down. That’s what the 405 trying to do in your opinion I feel if you love, 405 that’s your team or whatever you got a driver or whatever that great…. I live in Ohio I love watching racing in Ohio but I’m gonna be the first want to tell you that. i’m not a big fan of the Ohio street outlaw, I remember when my dad raised stinky pinky, who had a dragster that he bracket raced called the Panty dropper And now he’s on TV ……. Doesn’t mean I have to cheer for him because I’ll tell you what when my dad raced him at our local track years ago I wasn’t cheering for him then. I actually like someone who races kinda like I do when I race and that’s OK but just because all the names aren’t on the show doesn’t mean that they have to be on the show or nobody’s gonna watch I do feel this upcoming year with this whole team thing and draft a team that was the dumbest thing no prep Kings could ever done……… They should just let the racers race if they want to be team 405 and hang out with your buddies and share information that’s cool… Nola wants to have a few guys and they’re all buddies and share information. Hey that’s cool but Eventually, time goes on and things change in the number one thing people hate in life and I always bring this up. Is the word”change”…. People absolutely hate when things change or become different and I say, but sometimes it’s for the best and in this case, I feel like it gives a lot of new people and opportunity to get their face out there and who knows somebody might fall in love with this, Nate Saylor guy And He might be a new fan, favorite and he’ll look at Damon this year. He might be the new company of Ryan Mart no prep Kings you know Ryan wasn’t on the first few seasons of The street outlaws show the actual top 10 list and when he first got on the top 10 list hate to say it but Ryan was in the bottom half until he stepped everything up and pretty much bought his way to the top and that’s when the show changed………… so I don’t know about it I just feel like you’re frustrated because these guys you’ve watched for the past 1015 years how long the show’s been going now are not doing as well and that happens in racing if you got a race your way in and you lose it’s not discoveries fault they can’t put you on TV. You gotta win the race to get on there so I don’t know I just think you’re way off on this one. I wish I could come on Your podcast and actually debate you because I think it would make for some good talking about this guy needs to be brought up but I always watch your little podcast. I agree with some things this I totally did not agree with.
