I thought it was bad too use a solid trans mt with solid Engine mt and no mid Plate, good chance of cracking the Bell housing.
Use dry ice on that painted on factory rubber coating and it falls right off with a putty knife . Tricks of the trade
I just spent 14000 on spray foam insulation for a 30×48 12 foot side wall , 2 inches on the walls 4 inches on the roof, dude must have half a million in spray foam in his shop, worth every penny

With the drop spindles could you order longer shocks to have more travel than you do now achieving same ride height. I do know it may not be a off the self part and the chevelle is getting built in stages essentially.
