Great Mustang. I'm just not a fan of the 1/8th mile race. 1978,79,and 80 I raced 1/4 mile. I ran a Kawasaki 1000 with cams . 4. 38mil mikunni smooth bores. Open chamber Kirker pipes with a huge collector. Velocity stacks. It only would run on aviation fuel. Ran low 9's 150-155 mph. Which was fast back in the late 70's
No lock up in this car which means it smacks hard when you let go and in each gear which is why he can’t recover when it slips if it had a lock up converter he could recover a little better when it brakes loose no lock up converters are nasty but get very hott
