Let the Work Begin! (Kind of) and BIG Parts Shopping Spree! 😎 – Video 2 Isky Car

Thank you to @speedwaymotors for being a partner for the @iskyracingcams build series re-creating Ed Iskenderian’s iconic T Roadster.

Time to get to work! Well… Kind of. In this video, we are still at @speedwaymotors Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, NE researching Ed’s car. DT had a lot of measurements to take and patterns to create so when we get back home, the REAL work can begin. At the end of the video we head to the Speedway Motors customer center to meet up with the guys behind the counter to do some parts research, parts picking out, and then get to load it all up and take it home with us! You guys even get to go for a ride along through the warehouse. Enjoy!

  1. If you find evolution of speed parts and engine technology interesting. The speedway museum in Lincoln NE is a must see. It is home to thousands of engine's from all forms of motorsports

  2. Got to tour the museum and the whole facility back in 2008 when they opened up the facility for Hotrod Power Tour, it's an awesome place. Out of curiosity why did you not 3D scan the whole car?

  3. Hi guys, Dennis, maybe those brakes are Lincoln. Lincoln had juice brakes a few years before Fords did. And they are Bendix type (single anchor) easier to adjust than Ford's. The video didn't show the backing plates so I'm just guessing. I'm just a kid (75) compared to Ed, but he has been one of my heros since I started reding hot rod magazines. I am 1/2 Armenian and that makes it even better.. I really watching Alex on Hot Rod and the ATR videos, keep up the good works, Thanks, Ross

  4. I really enjoy your racing videos. But what really keeps me interested is watching how excited Dennis gets when starting a new build. You can actually see his mental wheels turning.
Oh ya, when will Tom Bailey's nomad be ready?

  5. HeyAlex ,im a huge fan of yours I think you are an awesome driver and all around car person and lastly i saw on a hot rod ad or somethongblike that that we have the same birthday don't worry im not one of them freaks 7 /15/63 i just think you and your people are great

  6. We use 7" max positive caster for street driving but I remember that for drag racing that number increases. My two bits worth. This is going to be a great tribute car and you guys are the the ones to do it. Have fun and congratulations.

  7. its amazing all that Alex has accomplished at such a young age. She dominates pratically every event she participates in.The knowledge and courage she has to live her dreams is fantastic. That young ladies isnt scared of anything. The relationship she has with her father is truly the best
