This was an interesting experience..standing right at the finish line of Onaway Speedway’s uphill drag strip as 280,000 pounds of American metal and lumber come racing towards us, and what happens? A turbo is absolutely shredded 15 feet away from our faces – sending metal fragments and smoke up into the air as if it were apart of the show. While somewhat sketchy, it was something we’ll never forget and something that will bring us back to Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge for years to come!

i always watching drag racea of cars street racing but seeing big rigs in this channel make me more interested
Now if only these losers could do this on on ramps and when passing other rigs on the interstate you wouldn’t have 25 cars nut to butt behind them for 10 minutes.

If you ever needed proof that it’s time we find a replacement for the Diesel engine, this was a visual aid. IMO.

I would love to know who tunes the ADEM III ECM with custom flash files! Also is that a C18 or C15? I know C18 engines we used in the oilfield to run on a compound for drawworks were twin turbo 800hp! Buckle 2 of them on a compound through a BDW 800Mi drawworks and you got some drill string pulling power. Clutch in the drawworks lift that brake handle and step on that foot throttle and you can barely hear those C18s growling over the turbos whistling. Amazing engines those C18s are!
Looks like the turbo blanket got a little diesel soaked. She was pouring on the fuel when the turbo shucked.

I hate how they are so secretive about the performance modifications they do. Yes alot of it is stock parts but what they dont tell you is they are running c18 cams/ injectors or marine c16-c18 parts in a specific combo. A 6nz 15l can fit c18 liners and rotating assembly
What kinda power and torque are these trucks running?
I looked through 1320's videos and this one seems to have the most views by far. Hopefully more to come
