Alanis, Elizabeth, and Nolan discuss this week in Formula One racing – from the cost cap controversy to Max Verstappen’s resemblance to a certain First Lady. There’s also the return of fan favorite CONSPIRACY CORNER. Then the gang recaps the chaotic Japanese Grand Prix, where this season’s Drivers’ Champion was crowned (in the most awkward way possible) and an on-track crane pissed off the whole world.

Max has plausible deniability because he’s not a mechanic. But let’s be honest he probably knew what was going on, these teams and drivers are very close. But…… congratulations RedBull! That is my favorite team!
I say there should be a points penalty for both driver and team. Even if max didn’t know his team was over spending, he was given an unfair advantage and so he didn’t win all those races honestly.
It tastes like beef jerky
I think that there should be some backward looking consequence (maybe drivers points, maybe constructors. Whatever) but there's a good chance that the existing RB-18 is better than the car would be in a universe where Red Bull took the cost cap more seriously so there should be some forward looking punishment either a reduced cost cap next year, reduced aerodynamic testing or a removal from fp1 for some or all races. Just…nerf RedBull a little.
Also. I think the FIA followed the rules to the letter in awarding full points at Japan.
That first lap was totally wild, and coverage of the recovery vehicle was being completely avoided, no video was shown and they didn't say anything about it for a long time even though Gasly was flipping over it.
@nolan Donut and friends need to get on NASCAR like this. I love all motorsports but the good ole NASCAR is changing, and the Cole Custer drama from Roval this weekend would have been a great podcast from yall. Lewis is 2021 champ in my mind, no hate towards Max, he is great and just does what a race driver should do in the car. Danny Ric needs to drive for Trackhouse racing in NASCAR he would make so much money with his fandom in the USA. They would put him in the project 91 car like Kimi did in Sonoma this year.
I like the ladies, they make it fun to listen to. Keep em around
Redbull wasn't first last year they just won the drivers not the constructors you brainless things
Riccardo goes to whoever pays him more and haas and Williams can't afford that
No problem Alaina, I know it ain't fair for them to raise prices like that, so I do everything within my power (which isn't much) to save you money
