When you race no prep you know what you're getting in to. At the same time it would be nice to have a good safety crew on site. This is the reason I always kept a pistol in the dirt track car with me in the eighties. I wasn't gonna burn alive. I wasn't the only one who carried in car either.
That safety crew was real slow getting there and when they did get there it took them atleast another 15-20 seconds to even start trying to put the fire out! That’s sad when these cars cost 400,000-500,000$$!!! Every second counts those seconds cost swangang alil extra cost to get back up and going but he will be ready in a couple weeks!!!

That track needs some real fire crews! How the hell do you run altered fuel cars with no pump truck on site.
If they can find a sufficient safety crew I think it's time to shut this shit down before someone gets killed.

A lot of people talking about the safety crew being shit. Looked to me like they snuffed the fire out on a blazing fuel fire in about sixty seconds.
This is why I'm not a fan of front mounted fuel tanks.
