Well, the plan was to finish the small details on Randy’s car and get it ready to test this weekend. But we had sone issues when we fired it up. Major oil leak. Let’s dig in and see what’s happening.

Dude race cars only do 2 things , go fast and break .
Dang that promod has a nice billet engraved motor plate!
Keep pushing forward, love the car.
Damn Randy he need some better luck you’ll get it great video how John’s Paying for parts
What kind of oil do you guys run? Never seen green oil before this channel.
He's got the same luck as me when I raced
I machined 7/16'' off the back of my balancer, then I had to machine an umbrella washer to compensate the protruding crank snout. Was right in the instructions from ATI that you can machine up to 7/16ths off the back of the balancer. No problems for years, just make one from 4140 or better yet H-13. Best balancer on the market in my opinion.
If my memory is right isn't the washer backwards think the step in the washer faces out. Towards the little washer ?
Maybe if you THREW in the towel instead of trow it in, it would work better.
Courtney's channel rocks. see he's wearing a Jon Doc shirt.
Crankshaft thrust clearance?
If the ShowMod didn’t have bad luck it wouldn’t have any luck at all
You can't use a topeak mountain bike shock pump it doesn't bleed of any pressure when you take it off .My shocks have the same type reservoir
Becoming hard to like these videos of that shiny piece of turd between the rails.
I feel really bad for Randy.
I’m a pretty diehard Ford guy but even I am beginning to wonder how much longer Randy can/should keep running with this engine. Unfortunately he probably has so much $ into this sucker it’s hard to turn your back on it and go another direction.
When it rains it pours
Small block Chevy time? Possible LS?
I would be curious about the crank snout cracking. A lot of flexing most likely happened with the balancer and pulley where wobbling. Then friction welding happened.
Just a thought.
IDK Big John with that big scrape mark coming up inside the damper looks like that might have been caused when it was put on and the metal piled up welding to the crank
I sure you guys will figure it out.
I hope y’all go ahead and mount the new turbsky on while your at it.
John we need to say a prayer to the Lord to help Randy out he's having all sorts of little issues
That leak really saved the crank.. just think if the balancer would've kept wobbling.. my my
when it rains it pours keep fighting guys
"what's up guys!"
"What had happened was…" LOL
John, just asking, but why is there zero locktite showing up on threads of that crankshaft bolt? Not even blue, not red, zero?
