Ok, so this week I’ve been called on to fix 2 different carburetors that “needed tuned”
90% of the time, the biggest issue with performance cammed Small Block Chevys is improperly tuned IGNITION SYSTEMS.
Well, let’s just say I found 2 perfect examples this week, but the Trans Am was an EXTREME situation that made for an EPIC TEST DRIVE when the customer came to pick up his beloved Fully Restored “Restomod”1976 Pontiac Trans Am.

Having a similar issues with my SBC cutting out like it is on the ford truck. Hope there is a follow up video on what was causing the issue

I had a Autometer tach exactly like the one in that Ford pickup that made the ignition cut out like his is.

Most carb problems, have always been ignition problems. You Sir understand the PV better than the current Holley people.
