Love the sound. I prefer a quieter exhaust rather then a high decibel sound.
The system came out awesome! Nice work on the muffler rebuild. A muffler dyno shootout would be YouTube GOLD… I know it would be a pain in the ass but…. If you had 5-6 sets of mufflers with slip fits/bands and you could swap them between dyno pulls, same day, man that shit would bring the views…
Compare 2 chamber Flowmasters; Macs. UltraFlows, Borlas etc etc and see how much power there REALLY is between them. Everyone knows Flowmasters suck for power but….it would be awesome to see how much they really kill…. If any….

The Mac flowpaths are the best sounding mufflers on the SBF in my opinion. Shame you can’t buy them anymore☹️.

I’m a Flowmaster guy – have run them on all my fox bodies even if they don’t flow the best because the sound is irreplaceable. That said those Mac mufflers sound sweet!
In the 90s I ran OG Flowmaster 2 chambers with no tails on my '85 F150 5.0 ho 5 speed. Long tubes, 4' pipe, 2 chambers. B cam, performer rpm, Street Avenger 670, 3-5 drop, 295-50s at all 4 corners. Learned a lot building that junk. Started as an I6 300 4 speed.
FM 40s is my favorite x pipe and full length header

Sounds so much better with mufflers and exhaust. Flowmasters are the classic sound but I prefer a straight through dynomax ultra flow or magnaflow now
I have a pair of Paradox signature series for my build. I can't wait to hear them with my long tube headers into 3" x-pipe, no cats.
