How to Survive a Fire Using Fire Safety



No Prep Kings racer Mike Bowman drives a procharger setup on his red chevelle. Mike Bowman has also raced on the streets with the street outlaws as well. Mike Bowman is no stranger to racing on and off the streets . But, there is always a chance when your racing that anything can happen. The key to surviving parts failure or freak accidents is prevention. Some of that prevention is fire safety. Fire safety is key to surviving any crash involving fire. In this video we show Mike Bowman racing and doing well but one of his runs the car gets loose and bursted into flames. Mike Bowman managed to get out safely and we talk about what exactly Mike Bowman is wearing to prevent serious burns and also how the track crews are able to perform their duties in a safe and timely manner.   1. if he ran an actual fuel cell made for methanol there never would have been a fire that's what fuel cells are for and why there mandated in real drag racing and not fuel tanks like these dummies here ( fuel tanks leak, cells don't there made to hold the fuel in )

  2. I'm a big fan but I don't understand why the parachute lever is on the ceiling in these cars, I would want to keep both hands on the steering wheel at 200 mph, there has to be a safer way. I have watched cars getting way out of shape then they have to pull the parachute lever to get back in shape but at that specific time who wants to take one hand off of the steering wheel to pull the parachute ? Be safer buds ! = be happier buds !
