The prop Matt I using for the hood how can we get them?
After you Polish the Glass follow up with 12 Layers of the small bottle Rain-X….Priceless Results.
Thanks Matt!
I’ve been waiting for something like this. Finally back in the garage doing OG things.
Matt, on the topic of polishers, what's your opinion on the Shinemate polishers?
Really loving these videos but you can't discourage people by telling them they need to buy the $400 rupes polisher when it doesn't make sense for them
Someone starting out it's hard to justify $400 for one piece of equipment, I personally am starting with a rupes knockoff I got for $80, $320 less than rupes. That'd be like me telling you why settle for a porche, just get a Bugatti… it's not pheasable or reasonable for many.
Great tip on priming the pad. Keep up the good work. Still waiting on that OG spec pressure washer spray gun protective boot. Plenty of guys on the Facebook page want it. Let's make it happen!!
Thank you
Do you use another air hose now over the prevost green?
I really like your laidback confident attitude when it comes to detailing. I get a real sensei vibe from watching your videos.
Rupes should add a small light to the polisher that lights up when it stops spinning during operation.
Awesome video. Awesome.
Hey question how many pads did you use for this truck?
Where do you buy those tools to keep the doors and boot/bonnet open?
This is fantastic! I’ve owned a polisher for about 10 years, and never polished any of my cars for fear of screwing something up. This shows you can keep it simple, take your time and have fun with it. I also have a “pickup” and was a bit daunted by the size. I’m keen to have a go! Thanks OG!
You talk to much off topic.
Why do you use 15mm instead of 21mm throw? Also why 5 inch instead of 6?
LOVE IT & THANK YOU MATT !!! @Obsessed Garage is the best channel aways going above and beyond and sharing knowledge on products, technique etc. If your OCD like me and Matt make sure to subscribe and don't forget to visit the OG store ! You inspired me to do my detail business and for that I appreciate you!
Hey Matt, the fender flares are a semi matte finish. Can they be polished? I’ve got some pin stripes from the trail.
This is an excellent video, Thanks so much!
I'm very thankful for you taking your time to give us a lesson on polishing! I have never found such a complete practical video on this subject on youtube, thank you very much.
☺
A lot of scratches on door glass is generally through the tint on the inside. Other wise you can get scratches out of them without hours of work.
Matt knows his stuff when it comes to polishing
Who tf is this guy ? Get him out the video lmfao
Hello ! I need to buy the jescar correction compound but i live in Europe.
Do you do shipment?
What water did he say, ion water?
What does mat recommends when you don't have an air compressor to blow out your pad?
Spta has a new mini polisher which I hate to admit I purchased it and am loving it! I know I know but it's actually good!
What speed did you use on the XFE on the first test site?
Your not savings $50 bucks your saving $200
