One of the most iconic automotive YouTube personalities to date is Cleetus McFarland, otherwise known as Garret Mitchell. And unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve probably stumbled across one of his videos. Recently Cleetus held a race at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway for all of his favorite automotive YouTube friends and Larry was fortunate enough to be on that list. Larry sits down with Cleetus to discuss the evolution of his YouTube Channel and his newly assumed role which Larry thinks is paving the way for the next generation of automotive enthusiasts.

Thanks for watching guys. Hopefully I can get behind the wheel again with Cleetus and friends.
It is a real stock car racing
Bet if you reach out Cleetus would love to have you back. Also great outlook and sportsmanship even though your race ended early. Some other people at the event where not so mature.
Some really fantastic shots!
Well done Larry
You’re a rock star
With this interview all I can say is, HELL YEAH BROTHER, sorry it didn't go well for you, you gotta not stiffen up before impact, Rj in Oz
I saw that race covered on a couple different channels, but honestly this is the best I have seen yet.
Great coverage and (obviously) amazing camera work!
I was worried watching Larry stiffen his arms during that crash. I know it’s instinct but it’s hella dangerous…
Man, Crown Vics are cool.
Maybe stick to F stops…
Does someone have the name of that intro song when he starts discussing cleetus
I bet half that field doesn't come back. Most of them are just racing for clout. Then there's Kevin racing to win.
2:35 nice
Hell yes!
Great vid, sucks ya' crashed but such is life.
First time hearing your that cleetus, so not everybody. Maybe in us and a, ppl know him well
Larry's a class act! Thanks for all you do for motorsports!
I never thought I would like your content so much! It’s just a such a broad spectrum and every video is a snippet of the vast car world that I never knew or thought I cared about
Great video !!!! Top quality all around, music, emotion, volume, entertainment. A+ dude!
Toledo Speedway needs a Cleetus and cars event
I hate to say it but someone's gonna end up dying over there. those people are not race care drivers. it's cool they are using crown vice but they are no track car.
Hope you can race again next year Larry :), your a legend for shooting the rest of the race.
Garret is a legend!!
The quality of this series is off the chart . Everyone one is worth multiple watches
Amazing footage! I really like how you tell the story. I've been watching Cleetus for quite some time now and watched him transform both Youtube and Car Culture! Keep up the good work and Welcome to the Hagerty team! My racing days are long over, I even quit watching Nascar for quite a few years, but I haven't missed watching Cleetus on PPV yet!
Thanks Larry! Cleeter is indeed da MAN!
Excellent story! Well done.
They need to put radios in the car and announce to all the drivers that a wreck is happening so they slow down.
That's my boy right there lol.
Sous from side x side blog really buggered that up novice drivers make the biggest mistakes
I think Cleetus's shtick has gotten old. I do agree that he and others have made drag racing enjoyable again. The only channels from his gang I still follow are 1320 and BoostedBoiz. It gets old watching people with deep pockets breaking equipment over and over again.
Such a cool show. I love the positive vibes and people supporting each other while being competitive. Cars and car culture should be about having fun. Both Robby Gordon with supper stadium trucks along with Cletus make for really fun car stuff
“Saving Car Culture “ that’s a big claim. No one person is the culture btw
Larry is the best.
