The long anticipated $5g Grudge Match between UTG and Unity Motorsports Garage is still on, but unforseen issues surrounding the header fabrication on Casper’s hybrid Boss 429 have led to us missing the race date twice.
In the meantime, here’s a status report on Bottle Rocket. What we’ve learned so far, and why we think Andy had better be on his game when we finally do line up.

A trans brake would loosen the converter off the line. Is a drivers license required in Mexico??
Is the race going to be 1/4 or 1/8 mile?
It's good to see bottle rocket on the track! Still looking forward to this race. Would be neat to maybe see plan z make it out too before the tracks close for the season. Good work getting her out, Tony! She looks great out in the sunlight with the Dodge Retriever.
I'd love to know where you're getting your bottles filled. We can't find a place any where near local. We drove all the way to TN Speed Sport to get a bottle filled… They had 4 lbs. We're not having much luck lol.
It hooks good but that may change with a lower gear and "snappy" torque change.
Tony, what is a hybrid 429? I know that a 429 is part of the Ford 385 family but I have never heard of a hybrid.

I'm putting a '61 F100 front axle in my '55 Savoy gasser. I ordered bushings for the spring eyes from LMC truck at the end of September. FedEx lost the package, so after talking to LMC they resent the parts. My springs have the 2 inch id springs eyes in the rear so I ordered under the 2inch eye springs section. I got the lost package Friday, had the 1 3/8 bushings. LMC says that what they sell. Lol. Yesterday I got the other package that I will send back and ordered the correct 2 inch bushings from Michigan Truck for half than anyone else sells and paid for 2 day air. So I'm thinking fiasco.

Hey uncle tony can you do a old history on extreme cylinder head porting like grumpy jerkins and bob Glidden use to do like epoxying the runners and cutting threw the pushrod pinch and installing brass tubes for the pushrods like the w5 heads that would be a real awesome video of extreme hotrodding real hot Rodding cutting and hacking making your own performance I don’t know if you still read comments but if you did I would sure appreciate it

Nothing like 700-900plus normally aspirated carbureted power unleashed on a cold road in December somewhere up north on a dry but chilly cold day on the streets! Enough people show up and enough burnouts and VHT then it was on!
I counted just under 7 , and it can launch harder and use more nitrous . It’s now getting interesting.
