Harley Needs to Hear This – The Reason Why Harley Will Always Screw Over Their Customers

This has been the Harley formula for many many years, sell unfinished bikes! You want decent suspension for a 850lb bike, give us money. You want performance for your “Sport” touring, give us money! You want to be seen with LED lighting, give us money! You want rider assists like ABS, Trac Control, and RDRS, GIVE US MONEY!! Harley can easily manufacture these bikes with Screamin Eagle OEM parts, but why would they do that when suckers keep buying them. I’ve mentioned this before, Harley could install inverted forks, and dual disc brakes on all their bikes. But if they do that, then you won’t purchase the upgrades and pay to get them installed after buying a $30k bike. Just ranting, love the brand and I’ll eventually buy another Harley in the future. Thanks for watching vatos, ride safe.

  1. Makes me wonder if his "Harley will be full electric in the future" statement is becuase it's cheaper to make an electric bike which means increased profits, or does he know that a 2nd bail out will be needed so they might as well start getting in politians good graces.

  2. Screw Commiefornia if it’s 50 States legal is legal in EVERY State. If Commiefornia wants their stuff let ‘em build their bikes there and have no right to sell em anywhere else, see how quickly they’ll change their ways. Imagine Laidlaw’s dealership moving to let’s say Az… Just sayin hahah

  3. I wouldn’t be bothered as much if the initial cost of entry wasn’t so ridiculously high. You can’t charge the prices they charge and make people have to buy stuff that should already come preinstalled in the bike.

  4. Total horse shit. HD forgot the stone cold fact ,that the. loyal Harley riders were systematic in bailing their asses out in 1981. Investers or not,it's the loyal customer base world wide. Mark ups on stripped down bikes! , That's weak bullshit.Hey HD why can't you make a reasonable price on your bikes, instead of making it affordable just for celebrities. Granted I love Harleys to the day I die. Remember 1981..

  5. I'm hoping the younger generation can end this absurd price gouging trend for parts and bikes. It's the older generation that keeps it alive. One of my older co workers will fork out the money no questions asked for Harley aftermarket parts purely for the fact that he doesn't know any better and has no knowledge of the non harley aftermarket. Whereas my clubstyle younger friends do not have one harley oem part on their bike. The only Harley part is the actual bike.

  6. Unfortunately, Harley Davidson Has turned into a chinese t-shirt company. For fux sake, hire some grassroots AMERICAN screen printers to make shirts. Then they'd be worth the fifty fakken dollars they cost…

  7. A T-Shirt company selling unfinished bikes, in fact I literally walked out of Maverick HD yesterday so Damn upset, headed over to the BMW dealer on Denton later today to get my deposit on a 100th anniversary Bavarian Harley R 18 model, you are calling it right man

  8. I’ve played the game of changing out everything on previous Harleys. With the Road King Special I don’t feel the need to change much of anything. I’m happy with it basically stock as long as it stays reliable.

  9. Just saw the 120 Anniversary CVO Limited. What a rip off, all the eagles and feathers are stickers with clear coat sprayed over it. You can see them and even feel them. Embarrassing

  10. It's always been to obvious what Harley Davidson is doing on making that money. They want this continuous profit from anyone that rides a Harley Davidson. They should be making parts for all their older bikes , I see they want that new stuff sold so that's why it don't happen

  11. Good-Day: Infamous Creep; Hears something to add. The state of Florida there are 35 dealerships. And you'll never guest that not one of them have the 2023 Freewheeler or the 2023 RoadGlide 3 8n their inventory, How can they show these bikes and have no availability in their dealerships?????? Just crazy!!!!!!

  12. when I bought my first harley softail slim 2019 I squeezed my dealer in London uk made him pay £1500 towards the accessories and £500 towards deposit. you got to squeeze them like a lemon don't be shy. and when I left with the bike the manager didn't want to see me off. well who gives a hoot

  13. I don't even know where to begin on a response to your video expect that you do know you don't HAVE to buy any extra stuff. You can have a blast on a completely stock bike. Also, there are lots of aftermarket companies you can buy from. You're complaining about Harley but all motorcycle companies do it. Want a center stand for a Honda Africa twin…$250 please. Want luggage for it…$750 please. And as far as interest goes save up and pay cash or go to a credit union. You wouldn't believe how much it costs me to get two full on race Honda CRF450 ready to actually race desert!

  14. If Harley didn’t do this, third party HD performance parts companies and builders wouldn’t exist and the custom Harley culture wouldn’t be as big as it is without it. Stop talking out of your ass just to make a video.

  15. Let me clarify; I own a 2019 RG ridden it from TN to FL & as for West as CO; have almost 40,000 miles on it; note I added a chopped tour pack; it has been a fantastic bike straight off the showroom. It is as advertised a grand American touring motorcycle. Has anyone considered Harley Davidson engineers the most customizable motorcycles on the planet with that said, how much is that type of bike worth?

  16. You are kinda stating the obvious. Of course it's Harley's business plan. Profitability for investors keeps the company afloat. It would be interesting to see what a SG or RG fully optioned as you describe would cost. It should be named "Screamin Eagle" of course…LOL!

  17. It almost sounds like people want Harley to do all of their modifications on bikes for them but like for free… almost like… buying a v6 charger and blaming dodge bc they didn’t throw a hellcat in it because you wanted more. maybe I’m wrong but the aftermarket world is there to make the bike your own and it’s up to you to do that, not the company. You want more power buy modifications and install them yourself. you want the bike to look a certain way then customize it yourself. Now yes, with reliability in mind they should come with reliable parts but as far as wanting more from your very stock bike, build it yourself. We as the consumer are not entitled to anything do the job yourself

  18. That is exactly why I don't feel like Harley has the right to call themselves a premium motorcycle. A premium motorcycle would already come with the premium parts. And I'm not talking about accessories I'm talking about the actual parts they use to build the engine.
It's a disgrace that I had to replace; so many inferior parts in my cam chest, chassis, and add a few parts that should have been there in the first place.
